Interesting and very accurate, to bad the Jets had limited picks and playing time for there rookies this season. Heres the three rounds they did thus far, more rounds coming soon: Round 1: http://www.drafttek.com/Rookieretror1.asp Round 2: http://www.drafttek.com/rookieretroR2.ASP Round 3: http://www.drafttek.com/rookieretroR3.ASP Alot of guys I forgot about in these rounds. Very interesting.
Kyle Wilson had a good game at the Browns. Nickle I think is where Kyle will start to develop more and more. Vlad Ducasse didn't win the job but i'm confident he can be our future RT or LT(no pun intended).
Cant wait till we see the real Kyle , he's gunna be a stud, cant figure if he's better in the zone or man to man tho.
He was better in man coverage in college. Usually what you were good at in college your better at in the pros. Those of us who have been patient with his progress will be rewarded in a few weeks.
I agree. Also i think one of the reasons we liked him so much was he fits our man up style. and you know Rex Ryan's philosophy on corners. (namely, a corner plays man on man and if he can't than he might as well play safety.)
Not the best grades --- particularly w/the Tyson Alualu pick. OK, so the guy starts--- but he was more mid-2nd value. Doesnt seem like they take that into account.
At the time, the pick was a head scratcher, but Alualu's played really well this season. *and they did take it into a count. They mentioned the pick being considered a reach, but he's played his way out of that label so far this year.
Alualu is doing well but the value wasn't appropriate at the time. Jax could have traded down and picked up some more picks.
