i read that Slauson's knee acted up, and he left because he couldn't bend it (or straighen... one of the two)
turner gave up both of the pressures where sanchez had to shake people off, if im not mistaken ... he at least gave up the shaun rogers pressure in OT
Yeah, but I don't think that 1 on 1 with Shaun Rodgers is a good idea for about 90% of the league. Same with going 1 on 1 with Ngata. Slauson shouldn't ever had to deal with that week 1. FIRE CALLAHAN!!!
Both Slauson and Turner had their turn getting destroyed by Shaun Rogers. I almost didn't notice when Turner came in, until the tried to start a fight with somebody.
hahaha, the carzy part is i think mangold was helping him on that play ... rogers was playing inspired football last weekend
Rex said he looks and feels better than he did at the same time last week, so that's a good sign for him playing I would think
apparently he is not a fan of eric barton Turner and former Jets and current Browns LB Eric Barton were never the best of friends when they played together, so Turner made sure he got into Barton's grill a few times. "Barton and I have a hate-hate relationship," Turner told The Post. "We went at it in practices here and just had some differences in opinion. Barton is an incredibly intelligent guy, but he's not a downhill linebacker and he acted like he was good. So I said, 'Well, if you're so good, come downhill and hit somebody.'
Don't worry. Marvin Austin or Ian Williams will hopefully be playing DT next season if Jenkins can't play a full season...
