A ton of Jets in there, and rightfully so.... Cascadden? An undrafted player who contributed is bad? Otis Smith? He was serviceable. Questionable picks.

Nice to see Gholston get the credit he deserves.

Bottom 100 players ever? ugh that is useless. Not even going to bother, it is a waste in my opinion.

Gholston at 26, I really can't argue that at all.

Haha. 26th worst player ever? That's a joke. Top 10 bust, yea that's likely. I can name 26 current players in the NFL worse than Big Vern.

stupid list to make, how do you quantify that?
the worst players in NFL history probably don't play more than a snap or see the field.

impossible list to make, especially from deadspin let alone a real panel of football people.

God Gholston sucks. But he shouldn't be on that list, not until he finishes his career

Only 26? That's too generous. He deserves top 5 right behind JaMarcus Laughing-all-the-way-to-the-bank Russell and Ryan Leaf.

Vernon Gholston is better than Aaron Maybin by a wide, WIDE margin. That says more for Maybin than it does VG.

How about Courtney Brown? Dwayne Robertson? Half the guys from the 2003 draft.

How was Ahmad Carrol on there? Late first round pick who wasn't good, but wasn't the worst guy out there. There are at least 5 first round picks every year who have equal or lower production than a guy like Carrol.

There are hundreds of 6th, 7th round and undrafted players who played in the NFL and were worse than Gholston will ever be.

If Don Boyd Odegard and Ron Faurot are not on this list, this list is a sham!

Haha, remember Don Boyd Odegard? All I remember about him was fumbling away a game in Week 2 of 1991 at Seattle on a kickoff return. I believe Faurot was who we drafted with the #1 pick we got for Richard Todd. That didn't go as planned.

    Correct on both accounts.
Faurot was the 16th pick in 1st round that we got from the Saints for Todd.

This list fails right there. IIRC Cascadden made some big plays for us. Fuck you deadspin.
