"This isn't one where I'd say the Jets got lucky" "What you gotta like is he's making plays at the right time...you're seeing this QB grow up between our eyes"
IF the power failure with the lights happened at a Jet game he would be blasting the Jets and managment. Since it happened in a Giant game hell prolly cover it up by saying well these thing happen all the time, there isnt really anything you can do about it. On a sidenote if that did happened at a Jet game I feel the fans would be going nuts, since I have season tickets wouldve eihter tried to take a beer or two and some food.
Mike absolutely praised Mark Sanchez tonight.... Said he is making plays and is growing up before our eyes. Absolutely gave him mad props.. He also said Rex doesn't have to apologize for wins like this and said the JETS outplayed the BROWNS. He did say that this is the real Nick Folk though...
whoah tanking giving jets credit? really? i figured he'd praise sanchez but didn't think he would admit the jets outplayed the browns.
The Jets got anotha lucky win wit dat late toinova. Othawize, Mangini was puttin' it to 'em. I don't know what dare goin't to do wit dat kicka... Folk is neva goin' to take dem to da SupaBowl like Rex Ryan has been sayin' and bwaggin' all season. Weediculous, weally. Meanwhile, the only weason da Gints lost is becauze dey toined off da lights in Gints Stadium to consoive da electwicity. I even said to my wife, "Dese Gints would be doin' much betta if dey can see. Dat's the only weason dare losin' dis game to da Cowboys. Dis is a good SupaBowl team wit Manning... he just needs to see betta."
i got Andre the giant at #1 and Megatron at #2 right now, the number 3 spot is really up for grabs, but i agree i don't think Dez is gonna pass those 2
What's with the link or gtfo comments every time he says something positive? It's a tv show and a radio show, not a blog to be linked to. If you don't watch or listen to either, why comment in this thread? btw, he said it. Everyone heard it.
I was tired, but stayed up just to hear what Francesa had to say. Can't believe that I've become a shill.
Did he blame Woody for the lights going off? Mink's makin' sum calls foah me to confirm, but I have herd dat da lights went out cause Woody didn't pay da eletcric bill because he hasn't sold enuff PSLs. Moah afta dis.
Are you kidding me with the Bengals game? We clearly outplayed them, twice. Chargers played well, but the team is very deserving of a victory if they take advantage of their opponents mistakes. Browns couldn't do it yesterday so we were the deserving team. We did it in the playoffs with Cincy and Chargers missing FGs, and took advantage of their miscues. Sanchez's sure pick was dropped, but there's a reason why the DBs play defense. Dropped ints are part of the game. If you are going to make the same horseshit excuse a lot of the beat writers make about Sanchez being a very lucky QB with all the dropped ints, please don't. Every QB has them. Manning has a couple almost every game. As for Cribbs, he had 198 yards receiving and 55 yards rushing in 8 games coming into week 10. Being a WR, he doesn't scare me at all, not as a WR. Sanchez too got injured. Yeah it didn't force him to sit out, but he played with an injury. IMO, he actually played better with injury. Mangini took a chance to win the game. They tried passing on us. We forced the incompletion. That's not called being lucky. Neither it was a dumb play from Mangini. Browns are not even close to the playoff race, and a lot of teams in that situation become aggressive. Yeah, we didn't play as well in the first half. But I still think we played better than the Browns. They had a few good drives, but we finished the half pretty decently. We lead them 17-13, and it was reflective of both teams efforts. Our D stepped it up in the second half, but we should have scored more than 3 points on offense in the second half. Anyways, my point is, we weren't lucky to win the game. We deserved the victory.
'if that bawl is not intuhcepted the game ends in a tie!' I love how he knows for a fact that Weatherford can't pin the Browns inside the 5 or 10.
