WTF does that mean? We had 28 first downs compared to Browns' 19. We had 456 total yards to 303. Our T.O.P was 47 mins. Browns' was 27 mins. We had ONE turnover. Browns had TWO. We had 7 drives with 7 plays or more. Browns had 3. We had 6 drives of 40+ yards. Browns had Browns had 4. We had ONE three-and-out. Browns had FOUR. We won the game. Browns didn't. How the fuck can anyone be better when we dominated the opponents? We missed three FGs. Browns Missed none. I'll give you that, but that just means Browns gave up several long drives. This game wouldn't have reached OT if it wasn't for Folks missed kick(s). As for you " if Santonio is tackled..." comment, we were in FG range already even if he was tackled for a 10 yard gain (45yard FG attempt). We didn't have a timeout, but we would have had about 20 seconds to spike the ball, more than enough. Take the fucking luck comment elsewhere. Im tired of that fucking bullshit. :up::beer: I usually stay away from this site on game days, till after the brianless numbskulls clear out. We outplayed the Browns in every aspect today, the game should not have been that close. We got some bad breaks, again, many self inflicted, but this was in fact a well desreved win. We overcame the mistakes and won AGAIN on the road, against a team that kicked the Pats' asses all over Gillette Stadium last week.
The Bengals and Chargers could have made that argument last year in the playoffs, we were all killing Francesa then (and rightly so) for his sarcastic whining about how we have a great FG defense that causes kickers to miss everything. We had our share of luck today too. Sanchez had a sure pick dropped before our final FG or WE don't get to OT. Cribbs got hurt early in the game and Mangini could have run the clock out in OT to preserve the tie but to his credit decided to go for the win on first down. I do agree we were the better team and the Browns also had their share of luck but I don't think in the first half we played very well, second half we played great for the most part.
