....has got to be the biggest liability on our defense. I know --- "Breaking News!". But is this the best we've got? Is Brodney Pool that bad? I miss Abram Elam.
This defense is confusing me. I though our secondary would be much better. Maybe Kerry Rhodes, and the rest of those loser CB were better choices after all. But then again, we arent getting any pressure at all so the CB have to play a lot harder.
Every game we throw someone under the bus, so its going to be Eric Smith this week is it? Any other takers???
Don't know if you've noticed but all the safeties have had problems coving TEs this season, if anything the worst culprit has been Leonard.
Smith is a good tackler and big hitter but he can't cover to save his balls. I get nervous when its a passing situation and he's somehow lurking around out there.
No --- its just hard to believe that we cannot find someone who can play safety better than Eric Smith via FA, the draft, even someone undrafted that we invite to camp.
Smith is a hard hitter but definitely struggles at times in coverage. That's what a #3 Safety brings to the table league-wide.
Smith shouldn't be used in coverage so much.. he's a good role player but covering a fast te like Watson is a mismatch. At least Wilson played well!
