Who Wins? Team A Trades Larry Fitzgerald and Tim Hightower to Team B Team B Trades Marques Colston and Mike Tolbert to Team A Thanks!
If either team is relying on Tolbert or Hightower that team is automatically the loser. Forgetting about them because they are basically trash I would take Fitz over Colston just because the Cardinals need to pass to Fitz while the Saints can spread the ball around.
Hightower and Tolbert are both useful RBs with Beanie Wells and Mathews possibly out. I traded Tolbert earlier in the year and really regret it now. I think it's pretty even honestly. Fitzgerald gets the edge on Colston, and Tolbert gets the edge on Hightower. Both teams probably upgraded the positions they were looking to upgrade.
Ok I made the trade (I'm Team B). I don't really want to flood the boards, so I'll ask my next question here. I was proposed Jacob Tamme for Dustin Keller. (I have Keller) I think I should accept. Thoughts?
I wouldn't do it. Keller is the 2nd best TE in fantasy right now behind Gates (in my league at least). Tamme might be the flavor of the month while Keller has dropped off a bit so it seems like a desirable trade. Problem with Indy is that their receivers/TE are all feast or famine. You won't see consistency from Tamme I think.
I like Tamme over Keller. The Indi passing game is far superior to the Jets, and Tamme will almost always out gain Keller (getting those Dallas Clark routes with Peyton throwing you the ball is a recipe for success). Keller is the better redzone target but Tamme is going to be in the redzone more often. I would probably accept it honestly.
If I was building a real team I would take Keller, but not in fantasy. Keller hasn't done anything stastically significant since Holmes joined the team, and Tamme has stepped right into Dallas Clarks spot producing just about the same as Clark was.
Would you trade Matt Forte and Dez Bryant for LeSean McCoy when you already have Larry Fitz and Jeremy Maclin as your WRs, and use a 3rd RB for a flex?
Meachem is garbage, but Orton is an every week starter. Depending on league settings and how badly you need a receiver, prolly not a good deal. Though VJax would be a nice guy to have around for the playoffs.
It's a win win but the raiders seem to be running more and jets seem to be passing more , id keep Dustin, he always gets targets and will have some big games soon .
