It worked for Jim Kelly and the Bills, I'm all for it. Why not??

It can't hurt, if it does we just huddle up.

Peyton Manning also likes it fast paced. The defense starts to tip their hand a bit more when on their heels.

That's exactly what Mark said. When the D has to hurry up too they are forced to show their hand, especially if Mark mixes up his cadence.

ATL killed them last night at the end.

Roddy White, Outside the perimeter, with nothing but the EZ in front of him?

To be fair to the Ravens D that probably was offensive P.I.

Just another reason to love having Revis. You know your never going to see the opposing teams number one walking into the endzone like that.

To me it looked like he was going down anyway, and he put the act on for that one.

Either way, driving 80 yards in a minute to win against the Ravens D says a lot. We've been orchestrating game winning drives and stopping them most of the year.

Atlanta is showing they're far better than the Giants, the Giants have lost to their only tough teams on the schedule.

One thing is clear, Sanchez need more control of play calling and Schitty needs less

That's for sure... I loved the Falcons pass plays yesterday... can't we run more of those? In ours it seemed as if everyone is confused about what the hell we're supposed to do.

Frankly, I see no reason to stick to the ground and pound run game over someone's dead body. The fact of the matter is, not many teams out there are going to have a 10 minute offensive drive that results in TD on this defense. Sure, hurrying things up to the point where the offense gets out 3-4 times in a row with 3-and-out won't be too beneficial, but then that's what we've been doing with the ground and pound for the past few weeks, no?

If Jets can start off with some scores on the board, that will make the defense's job that much more easier. If Jets can grab 2-score lead, that's when they should turn to the ground and pound again, shortening the game and giving rest to the defense.

we should run it on our first possession this week.....
it'll completely fuck up the the rhythm of the defense and personnel groupings. it's something we never do, so i don't know how much they can gameplan for it or expect it.

a quick score or two will bury the browns. they're not built to come from behind. they're build to grind it out, keep the game close and run the ball.

if it scores touchdowns, why not run it? they still count for the same number of points. get a big lead , then run ground and pound to kill the clock. bill walsh did that a lot with the 49ers. heck, the jets did that in sb3. they didn't even throw a single pass the entire 4th quarter.
