The NFL Flex schedule starts soon. Just a thought on the Jets games that might be flexed to Sunday night. week 11 Houston at NY Might get Oak at Pitt or Indy at NE..although NYG at Phi will probably stay put week 12 Thurs night no chance week 13 Monday night week 14 Home vs Miami week 15 at Pitt 16 at Chi 17 vs Buffalo no chance
Idk the Pitt-Jets game would have to be flexed for the Pats-Packers game. Do they HAVE to flex it, who makes the decision? The Miami-Jets game MIGHT get flexed for the Eagles-Cowboys, but then again the Cowboys would probably draw higher rating anyway.
They can't get flexed twice in a row correct? If that is the case then I think the Pittsburgh game for sure and that would be it. If this QB change somehow makes Miami relevant, then I could see them flexing that game and possibly the Chicago game. Although Chicago is awful, it would make sense to flex it geographically.
Houston will not be flexed guaranteed. The league will not have a team play a Sunday night game, and then again on Thursday, it'll be a 1pm game.
Pats game is a Monday night game. I agree, Pittsburg will no doubt get flexed. Hopefully that game will determine home field throughout.
No doubt? Packers at Patriots is scheduled for NBC that week. NBC will keep that game. There's no doubt about that. Jets at Steelers will stay at 4:15 and will be CBS' national game. ________ The following games are currently slated to be the Sunday night games during the flexible schedule part of the season. If NBC likes these matchups, they will keep them. Week 11- Giants at Eagles Week 12- Chargers at Colts Week 13- Steelers at Ravens Week 14- Eagles at Cowboys Week 15- Packers at Patriots Week 16- Chargers at Bengals Week 17- open Those Week 14 and 16 games look shaky. I think NBC will keep the Week 11, 12, 13, and 15 games. The Bills-Jets season finale has no shot at being flexed to Sunday night. Bears-Packers, Titans-Colts, Dolphins-Patriots, Bucs-Saints, and Giants-Redskins all look more intriguing. Also, the NFC West title could be up for grabs that week. The Cards play the 49ers and the Rams play the Seahawks.
The Miami game won't be flexed since NBC already had Jets-Miami back in September so they can't have both of those games. CBS will protect Jets-Steelers and NBC has Pack and Pats so they will probably stick with it anyway.
Steeler game has a chance and depending on how the teams are standing, possibly the Bears. I'm going out there for that one, hoping it's not a night game.
I hope the Titans take care of the Dolfags this weekend so there's no chance they flex any of our remaining games.
I don't think they would flex the Dolphin game, as someone mentioned we already played them on SNF this year. NBC will definitely be dumping the Dallas game that week, you can take that to the bank.
Texans game was already announced that it would not be flexed. Steelers should be, that's a marquee matchup with #1 AFC Seed implications (hopefully)
Take it for what it's worth (Bleacher Report) but this says Jets-Steelers and Jets-Bears have both already been protected by CBS (listing Pats as our opponent on 12/19 is a typo): http://bleacherreport.com/articles/515490-sunday-night-football-flex-scheduling-watch-week-9 Would love some legit confirmation of this; seems crazy that the NFL wouldn't be more clear about this considering its obvious impact on ticket holders. Still a little concerned that Dolphins game could be flexed, though if Minn can keep it together I could see Giants-Vikings being picked that week.
