Lol thank you thats basically what I was going to say. If we give up 15 catches 5 to Cro 5 to Revis and 5 to Coleman is that any different then 3 to Revis 3 to Cro and 9 to Coleman. Obviously when judging player by players it different but as a whole its the same to the D.

Drew/Lowery/Wilson will get picked on no matter what.

I'm glad it's just not me...I've been checking out our opponents message boards this season as well and the Browns are almost Dolphin fan level of stupid.

Maybe he will be the coach of the Cowgirls, Jones has to hate the fact that the Jets have such a marketable head coach...

We're due for a complete game on offense and defense....

cleveland has honestly played pretty well all season and especially at home. they're a better team than they're record and all their games have been extremely close except pittsburgh.

but i think by law of averages we'll finally have a decent offensive showing from the get go.

we win this game by a touchdown, maybe 10 points.

browns have some of the least talent in the league at the skill positions. disciplined and turnover free football is the key

I'm hoping the Jets stay disciplined & TO free also. Don't think Jets need to hit big plays offensively. Just avoid the stupid penalties & the yards/points will come. Brown D is not elite so no need to get too risky.

Mangini has done a great job remolding the Browns into a more physical team. It'll be a lot of fun to watch the action at the line of scrimmage in this game. Their DL vs. our OL will be a key matchup. Shaun Rogers, Ahtyba Rubin and Kenyon Coleman are a pretty good front for Cleveland. And their LB's are having a solid season behind them.

His argument was that Cleveland could not move the ball. they did and did it with a first time starter. No they did not put up a ton of points, but it was more than we hung on the Ravens or packers. With a guy starting his first NFL game in his first year. Its an impressive feat against a stout defense. Quit glazing over the conversation and jumping looking at the worng perspective. No they did not dominate, but that was not my point.

The point is he is vastly under estimating the ability of the Browns. Saying we SHOULD dominate. Hell, we should have dominated teams like the Lions and run all over the Greenbay Defense with several injuries on the defensive line, but we didn't. He claimed that the Browns would not be able to move the ball on us, I brought up a game where they moved it just fine, despite not running well and starting a rookie against a defense similar to ours, but with worse corners and a much better pass rush.

Again, I'm not saying we won't beat the Browns, but that this should be a good game. They held the powerful New England offense to 14 points while putting up 34. They beat the defending super bowl champs despite losing the TOP and yardage stats badly. This is a team that on paper does not match up all that well, but they play the damn games for a reason. The way our offense has been sputtering the past few weeks I'm not about to say we SHOULD dominate anyone.

Saying we should dominate this game is silly and arrogent. Yes the browns put up a stinker offensive game against the Saints and still won 30-17.

I guess them getting timely defense touchdowns is just another reason we should dominate? They are 11th in the leage in points against, another reason we should dominate? The jets have been winning games lately, but the only game we dominated all year was agaisnt the Bills. We should have run all over a banged up Green Bay defensive front 7, how did that work out? We barely beat a couple of 2-6 teams in Denver and Detroit so what makes you think we are going to Dominate this game?

We have beat one team that is above .500 so far. the Pats. we've beaten another that is at .500. The Phins. Our other two games agaisnt teams above .500 have been losses. Our Offense is not clicking right now and we are taking horrible penalties in every aspect of the game. This is a team that has been winning tight games, not dominating anyone but the hapless Bills.

My point was those points and yards came at the end when Pittsburgh already had the game in hand.

The Browns had 328 total yards, they gained 148 yards in the 4th, nearly half of their game total.

In the entire first half they gained 95 yards. Again my point was that once Pittsburgh was up 21-3 they took their foot off the gas, they aren't the Pats.

Pittsburgh did not take thier foot off. Do you seriously think in a rivalry game like that they would let up? Are you fucking kidding me? Once down 21-3 Cleveland abandoned the run and did almost nothing but throw. Pittsburgh switch up schemes to ont give up the home run, but the still came after the QB every down with Harrison or Woodley, or both. They are not about to hand Cleveland shit.

I guessing you did not watch the game, something I did seeing as I live right in between these two citys. It was not a close game, but it was Big Bens return and McCoys fist ever start. Cribbs and Massaquoi went down after huge Harrison hits. It was a brutaly entertaining game to watch and by no means did the Steelers "Let up" against the Browns. Its ridiculous to suggest so.

My point is that the Jets defense should be able to negate what Cleveland does best; run the ball.

Unless Cribbs has major returns in this game, there is no reason to believe that Cleveland's offense will be able to move the ball.

You don't want to say "dominate"? Fine. Jets win by double digits. 24-13.

Okay. Up 21-3, they most certainly went into prevent mode. Personally I don't care about this point you're trying to make.

Fine, they put up yards on the Steelers, good job pointing that out.

Now we have film on McCoy so we know what we are facing. We'll stop the run, and after we do that we'll stop the pass.

That's what I'm saying. I'm glad you live in Ohio or PA, contests!!

In PA on lake Erie. I's surronded by Steeler and Browns fans, so when the Jets are not on I tend to watch them.

I point was not to get in a big dispute, but people thinking we are going to walk all over the browns is funny. They are not a great team, but not a horrible one like the Bills.

The Browns look eeriely similar to the pre Rex Jets. A couple of young high picks on thier Oline. A decent run game with a pass game that runs hot and cold. A soild, but not dominant defense. Honestly if McCoy works out they could be a very good team in a couple of drafts. This is not the type of team we are going to destroy, but I belive we will win.

THe key is to stop the run, put the ball in the Rookie's hands to try to win the game. I expect the Browns to have a bit of success, but they will not run over the JETS, that is for sure. What worries me is Mangini's trickery, and how that will impact the game, and YOU JUST KNOW he will have some special tricks up his sleeve. I think this may be one of the best games of the year. Lots of story lines, and some good football players on both teams.

Jets always tend to play like shit vs. Cleveland. Can't remember the last time we won a game against them TBH.

That's probably because Mangini was our coach the last few times against Cleveland. The Jets played like shit against a lot of teams back then.

Your a football guy in a sea of non football poeple so it would be fun to talk to you leading into the Cleveland game. I'm up for freindly banter, no childish name calling. And I'll talk to anyone that would like to become better informed about the Browns...

I was a JETS fan when the Browns were out of the league for a few years, so I still have a soft spot for them. Always have been treated like a 2nd class team.

So tell me guys are you happy with BE???

He's been great for us this year, minus the DUI obviously.

He only has 1 drop in 50 targets, and he's made some amazing catches. The chemistry between him and Sanchez is great.

I was annoyed about some of his comments after the GB game but as stated earlier I'm very happy with his on-field performance.

    How do you like

Eric Mangini, Eric Barton, David Bowens, Reggie Hodges, Chansi Stuckey, Kenyon Coleman, Abram Elam, and Jason Trusnik?

Love Mangini, he has this team playing like a team, before we were in really bad shape and with less then ideal talent he has rounded this crew into a solid football team. He is the real deal.

The rest of the ex Jets have been solid contributors. Not top shelf talent but their reliable and the DO THEIR JOBS.

BE is a head case I was just reading all the stuff he has been saying. He likes to talk trash but seldom backs it up.....

Hows MS working out for you guys? How is your defense playing?

    Do you miss Mangini?
