It was a great play by Harrison to end the game.

Though, once the Bengals got in the hurry up, the Steelers pass rush looked lethargic and shitty.

So what? We got shut out at home against a team with a ton of injuries. The Giants are taking care of business, and the Jets have been winning despite a ton of mistakes, the team that's playing better football is the Giants hands down.

I'm sure that the Steelahz weren't luckee to win da game, but rather they daaaahminated da bengulz. Even tho they committed dumb penalties and cincy almost came back, they daaaaaahminated the bengulz wit der awl wurld pass rush.

I didn't realize the only NFC East game they've played so far was Dallas. They have two with the Eagles and two with the Redskins still to play. Those will be huge.

That's the same logic he used when saying that Braylon Edwards DUI arrest counted because it happen in NYC...

but he didn't care about the multiple Miami Dolphins DUI arrest because "they didn't happen around here...I'm only talking about what happens around here."

I think we all tend to confuse "Playing like shit for most of the game but making a few plays at the end of the game to pull out a win" with "getting lucky". I guess I just don't see how the Jets "got lucky". To me both teams made a ton of unforced errors (both teams had 11 penalties for approximately 100 yards - and actually, the Jets had 2 careless turnovers while the Lions had 0) with the Jets outgaining Detroit from the line of scrimmage by over 100 yards, as well as, gaining more return yards on special teams.

I guess the biggest argument for Detroit getting lucky would be that they lost their kicker and quarterback due to injuries in the second half. However:

    1) In my opinion, the play that their Kicker got hurt on easily cost the Jets more than it did the Lions. Because the bottom line is, if Trevor Pryce doesn't lose his footing and awkwardly stumble into the kicker (arguably "unlucky" if you ask me), it's 10-10 instead of 13-10 Lions. And the bottom line is, the Lions didn't have to attempt a FG for the rest of the game. (They did attempt one more extra point which their kicker CAME BACK TO MAKE - something Francess doesn't seem to realize)

    2) Stafford getting hurt only really cost the Lions on two future plays:

    A) The 3rd and long immediately following his injury (a play he was no guarantee to convert on considering the Lions were just 5-14 on third down with him in the game)

    B) The 3rd and 6 on their last drive in regulation with them attempting to run out the clock, where they most definitely should have just run the ball anyway.

Fatty was loving that whole thing: "Brayllonn Coulda been drivin thru tanny's neeahtbahood and killd Tanny's kidz! He's a menace!!!!11 He's gotta sit against da fins!!!!111"

And - yes - he said nothing about Kareem M. and Ronnie Brown's DUIs...

Did the Steelers get lucky last night because Nugent missed to FGs? That Palmer didn't complete those passes? The passes should count in Fatty's mind, because "dey happend in da last 2 minnits of da game."

I'm not saying the Giants aren't better than the Eagles, because they sure look to be, but they gotta go out there and prove it.

Well, Steelers missed a 40 something yarder at the end too so that negated the Nugent 40 something yarder. 50+ yarders are tricky because you can't assume you should make it.

Dude, you are missing the gist of the post. Read the past 5 pages or listen to Francesser after a Jets win and maybe then you'll get it.

Steelers got lucky because Cincy didn't try to run it on 3/5 from the 12 with 44 secs left.

You get two or three yards there (let alone catch them napping and get a first) Palmer stepping through the pocket for a first and a spike is a legit concern, pass rush slows down a bit..get the first and Palmer hits one out of four for a score.
