If Watt declares and we somehow get him I'm going to go apeshit (in a positive way).

Von Miller will be the first OLB taken in your opinion?

It'll be interesting to see how much NC players like Austin will fall because of the "agent-gate".

Are you willing to bet we won't go after a RT?

    Good job as always

PS I'm hoping we will find a good ball-hawk S in the later rounds... how about CBs that will make the switch to S... any good names? I still can't believe how much Donovan Warren has failed!

No, he's just not in my top five.

Not trying to nitpick, but it was North Carolina, not NC State. Robert Quinn won't fall. Marvin Austin won't fall that far, but this cost him more than anyone else involved.

I'm willing to bet that Vlad Ducasse is our future at right tackle.

It's not very likely that we'll find a ballhawking safety in the later rounds. I'm not really impressed with any of the top safety talent either...unless Tyler Sash declares.

Chris L. Rucker is a corner at Michigan State that has free safety written all over him.

My bad... how many colleges are the in Carolina !? That said this year a lot of S fell... hopefully the same will happen next year. Or maybe we'll scoop someone up in FA, we'll see.

I feel the same about Ducasse... fingers crossed.

Well, in your words: Kendrick Ellis is a raging homosexual on fire.

Mason Foster is an animal, but I think he's more of a 4-3 OLB.

Id be willing to throw money at Dawan Landry or Tanard Jackson if available. Could help us grow more in the draft to at improving the lines.

:rofl::rofl: happy to see you still have that as your sig Mr. E , gotta say though he can move a line. But I guess any homosexual on fire could.

Mason Foster is a beast and Rex could certainly turn him into a sack machine at 3-4 OLB, I can see how he may be able to benefit more in a 4-3 but I dont think that means he cant play productively at the 3-4OLB position.

I'd like to stay away from Tanard Jackson.

Is this because his skill set? Off the field issues ( suspension)? or The type of defense the Buccaneers play?

Hypothetical: We are on the clock right now and you cant trade back the following guys are on the board, who are you taking and why him over the others?

Nick Fairley (Auburn Tigers) 3-4 DE
J.J. Watt (Wisconsin Badgers) 3-4 DE
Jerrell Powe (Ole Miss Runnin' Rebels) NT
Akeem Ayers (UCLA Bruins) 3-4 OLB

Ayers for sure, hes exactly what we are looking for at OLB .

    Why over the others?

Fairley , although great, might not be the safest pick since his experience level is so low. Too much of a risk , though would be my second option.

Powe, goes down by default because OLB is a bigger need.

Watt, great prospect as well but dont see him going that high to be honest with you.

Off the field issues. He's a really talented player, but I don't want to take a chance on a player that's already been suspended for a year.

    Nick Fairley.

The kid's absolutely dominated in the best conference in college football. He's a perfect fit in the 3-4: experience in the scheme, great size, surprising athleticism for a big man, and a non-stop motor.

I really like Akeem Ayers, but Fairley is just higher on my personal draft board.

But dont you think that a full YEAR would kick his shit into gear a bit? Especially with Rex running the team I doubt he'd repeat his actions.

I'd rather spend the money on a safer player. Dawan Landry or Antoine Bethea come to mind.

With his suspension Tanard may actually come cheaper and provide equal if not better production.

I think if he keeps this up there's a good chance Fairley goes before Hayward.
And between Hayward and Watt (although I think he'll stay in school one more year) it'd be an interesting choice.

Isn't Landry more of a SS? Jesus Bethea is an asshole... good football palyer but god what an annoying dick. Tanard Jackson would be a huge risk / reward... although NY doesn't sound like the safest place for a guy with banned substance abuse problems...

Not even a question, Nick Fairley by a country mile. I love Ayers, but Fairley is an animal. If he were a literary hero, he'd be Beowulf.
