I don't think the postseason is the right time to "test a new rule to see if it works"

Not only does it not kick in until postseason, it only applies to Peyton Manning and Brett Favre.

Yes. Like when a Jets wideout is on the ground and gets the ball stripped after down by contact, it's an INT.

When Collie makes a catch, secures the ball and turns upfield, and gets hammered and the ball pops out, it's an INC and a penalty against the D.

This is something I posted in a thread when the rule was announced

Seems fair to me that in the postseason after both teams offensive and defensive units worked hard together all season to get there, its not really fair to possibly cut out one of the units from having a shot as well, based on the outcome of a coin.

Yes I understand the FG isnt guranteed, but it doesnt seem unfair to give all squads 1shot before then going to sudden death, where as a small argument could be made with the older rules.

lol. I actually haven't watched as much NFL this season as I usually do. I have seen a couple of games go into overtime but the thought never crossed my mind. For some reason I went into shock yesterday.

So in addition to being not tough, kickers are not smart?

Well except for Feely of course.

Feely is smarter than Folk, but Folk is 5 inches taller.

    Just making it clear.
