    Stupid thing by the Packers IMO but I'm guessing he was because of injury and age concerns. He'll get picked up quick tho, maybe by a team like the Texans, Colts, or weirdly the Vikes.

    theh only thing that makes sense is that his knee just won't allow him back on the field. It's the only thing i can even think of. But then again why not IR him and hope he can play next year? Why cut him right now when he might be able to be used against you?

    He's old and is becoming a very mediocre #2 cb so it's not the most shocking thing ever...however I figured he would retire last offseason. He's so close to coming back and now he's released!? wtf

    If he can play, I'd be more than happy to see the Giants take a flyer on him as a #4 CB. I think he's physical enough to play some SS and OLB (which is how Fewell has been using our DBs lately). I doubt his knee lets him see any extensive playing time.
