Im gonna redo my predictions here Wk 1-5: 4-1 Week 6: @ Broncos - W Broncos can not run the ball. They can pass however, but the injuries does not help their cause in a game they may lose either way. Week 7: BYE Week 8: vs. Packers - W ARod is good, but we still beat them with other injuries. Not sure if ARod plays either. Week 9: @ Lions - W I'll say it again. This will be a much tougher game that we anticipate. We eventually win it, but Im not expecting a blow out. Week 10: @ Browns - W Its a mess up there and Mangini has one last favor to do. Week 11: vs. Texans - L They are inconsistent and we should beat them, but we outplay ourselves while Texans get a few good plays. Week 12: vs. Bengals - W I dropped Palmer from my fantasy league where there are 16 players. There is a reason I dropped him. He is not elite. Week 13: @ Patriots - W Tough game. We win either way. They are much weaker than they were in wk2. And Brady gets a hair cut after the game. Week 14: vs. Dolphins - W I like Pennington, but he can't beat us. Chad Henne will be benched. Week 15: @ Steelers - L Im not sure we beat them. They have played at a supreme level even without a QB. Week 16: @ Bears - W Cutler sucks and so do the Bears. Week 17: vs. Bills - W This will be a very close game. Jets still win it 41-6. Final Record: 13-3 2nd in the AFC, 1st in the AFC East
I wonder if it would be an organizational decision. Also, if that last game can make the Jets lead the league in wins, Rex is playing his starters.
I'd love to be in that position. And we get a bye! a BYE! but lets just enjoy this right now. still gotta make the playoffs. we're not the indy colts yet. playoffs aren't a given every season.
As cool as it's been to see ND as accurate as can be right now I think I would have a fucking heart attack if we were to go 1-4 weeks 11-15. The media would be killing us every week.
The Saints had a similar run last year. They "backed" into the playoffs by not playing stellar football towards the end. Its just a hunch, and I could be wrong, but strange things do happen. I think if I am shockingly perfect, weeks 16 and 17 right the ship and the Jets go back to being dominant in the playoffs. I think there are about 4 of us left in this thread who have pegged the 1st 6 weeks. I'm just upset that the Broncos are 2-4. I was one game off on McDaniels coaching them into the ground.
I give you props for being 100% so far. Hopefully we finish better than 11-5 so the Jets can finally take this division. I feel like NE will have around a 11-5 record.
