I've said that in another thread. SHotty has absolutely NO clue on how to use players. He is limiting everyone w/his asinine lack of plays and predictable playcalling. Constantly putting his QB in a position to fail.
1. Mark Sanchez 2. Receivers 3. Rex 4. Henry Ellard 5. Westhoff 6. Defense 7. Pettine 8. Thurman Except Brian Schottenheimer
It's not his fault. The play selection is very predictable. They load up to stop us on first down then play soft coverage on 2nd and 3rd down. He never has anywhere to go with the ball because the defense pretty much knows what play is coming 95% of the time.
It obvious - the fat ass on the sidelines. oh wait, he's funny at press conferences, so he gets a pass. its the fan's fault for not supporting the team. yea, thats it
So according to Detroit anytime a player is near the sideline, you can't touch him. No wonder Detroit has sucked for so long.
There's balance in terms of throwing and running stats - but the problem is, we are inevitably in third and long situations because Schotty's game plan is so predictable. In order to throw - it helps a to to do so when your next play can't be predicted.
the straight up game-planning has sucked. Seems though now the CS is convinced there's so much talent all we have to do is show up and everyone will win each of their individual matchups each snap.
New England and Miami set to lose today. And we can't take advantage because we're getting beat by the fucking Lions. Really a disgraceful performance today.
