Who want's to bet now we go extremely deep on this next attempt? Schotty either goes for a 5yd pass or a 20+... he doesn't know about stuff in between...
Brian Schottenheimer is the offensive coordinator, so he's going to get the blame for this one. We have no idea what goes on behind closed doors, but I highly doubt Ryan has anything to do with the offense.
this thread could have 2 one sentence posts and it would still say the exact same things as you guys have managed in 42 pages.
IF you convert a 3rd down and do it again you wear down a team... IF you can't do that then forget about GROUND AND POUND....
Remember when the Jets were in the 2009 playoffs? Well, that offense has improved talent wise. Yeah...............how is this happening?
C'mon let's run Sanchez off tackle - or are we going to yet again wait until the final most important drive of the game to call that beauty of a play?
Yes. I like them running on 1st to bring the D up, but once that happens, calling a slant or any pass short towards the middle of the field is stupid. Play action in that situation would work wonders. Fake the run to Keller's side and run Keller up the seam.
I would say go to the hurry up - just so Schotty isn't making the calls - but, you have to make at least a first down to even entertain such a thought.
He's on record (radio) saying that he sat in on some offensive meetings this week. The players have been saying all week how we're going back to ground and pound
