I don't normally partake in the "burn em' at the stake" type threads, but I have absolutely had it. If there is still anyone who doesn't think that Schottenheimer needs to be relieved of his playcalling duties immediately, you need your friggen' head examined. He is single handedly ruining this team's season.
Inept and embarrassing offense.....depressing but true Title says it all , 5 qtrs of mindnumbing offense called by a co-ordinator who does not have a clue how to string a drive together. This team should be racking up points and yards with the talent it has ..so far its a fucking disgrace
I'm getting sick of Shotty and his play calling. The organization needs to realize he is not that good of an offensive coordinator. We have a lot of talent on offense. Holmes, Edwards, Cotchery, Tomlinson...use it!
This play call gets me soooo mad. 3rd and mid/long and we do a short dump pass way short of the down marker, wtf??
Honestly, he needs to be fired after this game. We can't continue the season like this. Give Callahan a playbook with like 20 plays on it and promote him to OC. We'd have a more efficient offense.
2 bad games. i am not a fan of schotty, but i am less a fan of this boards need for bi-polar meds. 2 bad games. if he calls 2 bad games a year but gives us last january (consistently) i'll take it every year.
re: play calling There are times I think the play calling is very bad, but schotty's job would be much easier if we had some better run blocking. Our running game is not setting us up for any success.
Agreed. I'm getting tired of watching him call plays every week. He is not a good offensive coordinator and the organizations needs to do something about it. Everyone talks about out defense, but they won't be getting anywhere if they can't score points.
How quickly you forget about the Raven game. That's 3 bad games out of 8. I don't know about you, but any rational person wouldn't like those odds....
Hey genius...3 bad games out of 8 means you have a 38% chance of getting a lame duck game out of Schottenheimer. You'd be comfortable with those odds late in the season and into the playoffs?? I wouldn't!!
that last drive looked pretty damn good to me, at least until Jerricho had another drop and then the busted last play (which you can't pin on the playcalling)
