I need another player for one week only...... Bush vs Denver Ivory vs Browns Ben Jarvis Green Ellis vs Chargers Woodhead vs Chargers standard scoring yahoo league, this is for my flex spot
Probably either Ivory or Woodhead. McFadden is supposed to come back this week, so that cuts into Bush's carries, although I would think Bush would still get the goal line carries and if he scores a TD, that's a good one week replacement. Ivory had a good week last week, granted against TB's awful run defense, but the Saints should have a huge lead for most of this game which means they should run the ball more than usual. I like Woodhead more than Green Ellis because Woodhead is more of a weapon for them in the receiving game. Pats-Chargers should be a bit of a shootout and Woodhead has gotten more touches every week since he's been there. I'd say Ivory is probably the safest play, but I think Woodhead is a really good one week replacement for this week too.
This week my one week waiver wire pickup is Seyi Ajirotutu. With Gates hurt (and possibly out) and and the Chargers with no WR, Crayton is #1 Seyi Ajirotutu is #2. The Charges are obviously the #1 passing team in the league and they're playing the #32 passing defense in the league (Houston).
BJGE. If it was PPR I'd say Woodhead but BJGE will def get more yardage and better chance at scoring than Woodhead. Browns DEF barely gives up RB TD's so I'd say no to Ivory. Bush is just lucky...and not lucky enough to use as a one week bandaid.
HAHA didn;t even see that. Was on a rampage from earlier and had my head in another place when i wrote this. Shoulda realized these games already happened lol.
I didn't listen to you only because I didn't open this thread till a few minutes ago, but I did add Ajirotutu this week and started him over the USC Mike Williams.
I actually almost did. In the league I was thinking about adding him I already had Fitz, Jennings, Marshall and Knox and I felt more comfortable with all of them. I wish I had played him over 3 of the 4 now and he still had a better game than Jennings too.
