I just had a nail-biter, unlikely win and wanted to share it. I was down 10 heading into tonight's game with Arian Foster going, but facing Matt Schaub. I figured that it was the longest of long shots in theory, but knowing Foster can be a point machine there was a chance. The late TD by Foster put me down two when the Texans got it for their last drive. Schaub went to him a few times on short passes that brought me even, then after a few plays downfield it stayed that way. When the Texans got down to the 15 we were still deadlocked, and I was left hoping that Schaub either threw a pick or Foster was the man that put it in the end zone for the Texans. Luckily for me, Dwight Freeney is a special kind of man, and he stripped the ball, the game, and two clutch points from Matt Schaub, handing the Colts and my squad the W. Thank you Arian, thank you Dwight, and that you Schaub's butterfingers. Anyone else catch a wink from lady luck this week?
I had a similar case but I ended up on the losing end. I was down 5 points going into tonight's game with Schaub as my QB going against a guy with Andre Johnson. I figured all I needed was a TD pass to anyone not named Johnson or for Johnson to do nothing. Well, Schaub's only TD was to Johnson and he had 2 turnovers. Lost by 10
I was up by 52 on a PPR League 1 pt = 10 rush or 20 rec They guy had Foster and Johnson They both scored a combined 55 pts All on garbage time!!!!!!!
one man's pain is another man's glory.. or something like that.. I was down 34 pts with foster and I pretty much thought it was over once the final drive started and i was down by 4.5 pts still.. UNTIL! shaub throws to foster like 3-4 times on the final drive.. for no reason at all.. and i win by 0.5 pts.. kept my ass undefeated ..
