He along with BB so I think he will be able to get along with Fisher. With Randy it seems to be about winning. Everytime he has been on a shitty team he has been a headache. When he is winning he is a model citizen. The Titans are a winning football team so he will probably get along just fine. I think he will also take a liking to Young scrambling and just throwing one up for him.
That is the important factor in signing Randy Moss... make sure you win, make sure you throw him a few TDs. Everyone goes home happy. I don't know why anyone would want to sign this douchebag.
he was winning this season in NE and became a headache for them. he was winning in Minnesota and was a headache. there simply is no correlation between losing and his attitude, he is a headache no matter what. are you that unaware of Moss' career or are you choosing to simply ignore the reality of it?
I'm not unaware of anything. He wasn't a headache in New England until he saw the writing on the wall with his contract. He still wasn't a headache by any standard besides BB's standard of not saying anything to the media ever. If your talking about this last stint in Minnesota I think you might be the one that is unaware of some things. When he was playing for a legit superbowl contender in the Pats he wasn't seen as a guy with an attitude problem. He goes to the shit storm that is the Vikings and all of a sudden he is a juvenile again. There is a correlation there and whether or not you want to ignore the reality of it is up to you.
again, he was a headache this year and they only had one loss. you also conveniently choose to not address the fact that he was a headache every year he was in Minnesota, it was simply ignored because they were winning. and I'm talking about his first stint. you do know he played with them once before, right? apparently not, or you would know why he got traded to begin with. the fact is, his attitude has always been a problem, and the only time it wasn't was his first three years in NE. before that the Vikings were a winning team and he was a headache. how about you address that. I'm not ignoring any correlation, it doesn't exist. address the rest of his career rather than simply point to 3 years with the Patriots and you see how flawed your argument is.
Yea, a guy that has been on a team for four weeks should make that decision. Him and Favre should have been jettisoned.
I left out his first stint because this is a pointless argument. I think he is gonna be fine for the Titans the rest of this season and I didn't bother to give him a complete mental evaluation to reach that conclusion. My original post wasn't meant to be some great explanation Randy Moss' career, sorry that it didn't meet your standard for stating an opinion. I just don't think he will be much of a headache for a coach like Fisher because he has control of the locker room just like a certain coach on NE. Also the winning will probably help. Instead of breaking down his whole career I think I'll sit back and watch football for a few weeks and see how he acts. One of us can bump this and make fun of the other at that point.
If your a player who is going to be a problem child when losing, then you don't need him on your roster. Isn't the true measure of a great player being how he acts when the chips are down. This is football, it is not going to be all sunshine and roses.
