Vikings Waive Moss (Update: Titans Signed)

I think the Jets figured there's no use putting a claim in since there were so many teams ahead of them interested in him.

 

Now, would he be losing his money from the Vikings as well, or just whatever the new team is paying?

I don't think the Jets are afraid of him going to any team. what would that say about the confidence they have in the their own team if? not very much. I highly doubt their attitude is to spend $3 million on a player just to keep him form playing elsewhere.

 

btw. jericho cotchery on WFAN said Moss had no place on the team, and Jericho wouldn't want him.

 

Droppery needs to shut the fuck up until he actually starts contributing this season.

 

once he is claimed by another team he is no longer the Vikings responsibility, and what happens subsequently is of no relevance to them. they only owe him money if he goes unclaimed.

400K? if the jets claim him on waivers they are responsible for all of his contract, not the vikes. and i would think moss would report to the jets if they claimed him. not remotely worth it IMO.
