It says alot of about the lowlife people in the stands and that's not a knock on NE fans, it's the same way around the league.

I think it says more about how the general football public is fucking tired of Favre and his bullshit.

We all are tired of Favre, that doesn't mean we should be happy if the guy gets hurt.

    Sing along:

    Ain't it good
    Ain't it right
    That you are with me
    Here tonight
    The music playin'
    Our bodies swayin' in time
(In time, in time, in time)

    Touching you
    So warm and tender
Lord, I feel such a sweet surrender
Beautiful is the dream that makes you mine

    Mmm
    Rock me gently
    Rock me slowly
    Take it easy
    Don't you know
That I have never been loved like this before

The Play by play guy made me laugh my ass off. He said the following to Troy Aikman:

That was the rumor for years............

Wow you can't make this shit up.

What a pussy. In our football you get a 'facial laceration', as they call it, you run down to the rooms where the Doc stitches you up immediately, without a jab, and you are back playing 5 minutes later.

You guys didn't deserve the joy of doing that, it should have happened against the Jets.

Not everyone is as tough as you:rolleyes: and when a normal human gets hit by a 300 lb man w/ his helmet into your chin it's going to hurt. For all the nonsense about favre we know he's tough so when he gets knocked out of a game it's a big deal. It wasn't just a cut on his chin.

Guys, Favre is still a human being. Sure, the annual retirement party is annoying, but I never wish injury on anyone, and that includes Vince Wilfork.

Nobody is hoping that Favre suffers a crippling injury or is paralyzed for life.

I think fractured ribs or a dislocated shoulder to his throwing arm would be perfect.

he was hurt, which is simply an experience of pain, not injured in the sense that he is physically debilitated by the hit to any extent that it will have any lingering effects to his ability to function in both life or on the field. even something as mild as a sprained ankle is an injury because it requires some level of recovery to return to full playing form or to simply walk normally. a cut chin won't affect his ability to play or function in life once the pain subsides.

Favre got a football owie, that was all.

We had no idea the extent of the injury, the man was hit w/ a helmet under his chin. I'll be shocked if he doesn't at least have a concussion. regardless of the injury it's childish to cheer as a guy is being carted off even if you think it wasn't a big hit.
