I always wondered what Rich Kotite did with his spare time....now i know....he posts on TGG under the username "Don".
WSW wrote in the other thread that Vets get to choose where they go. I forgot about that. I can't see him coming to the Jets despite the speculation. Unless he's really pissed off at New England, which it didn't sound like from the lovey-dovey quotes he gave about them yesterday.
I knew it. Crazy Al thinks they have a shot at the division and he NEVER wanted Randy to go. It was the first of many problems with him and Kiffin.
There's more chance of DarrylStingley lining up at WR than Randy Moss. The Pats have moved on. They wouldn't have dumped Randy in the first place if they wanted him back, and they can't even block him from going to a contender given their waiver wire position.
No way they bring him in to be a main part of the offense. I doubt he makes it far enough down the waiver list to get to the Jets but they would only take him to keep him away from Brady and the Pats. If you have him on the team I guess it wouldn't hurt to send him deep but you know he isn't gonna learn the offense or try to get in sync with Sanchez.
Haha, I'm just waiting for TO and Ocho to finally get sick of Palmer throwing balls 5 yards over their heads. If Moss went there, the meltdown would come sooner.
how do you think they do it, every team puts a claim on him and they pick out of a hat? how would the league determine who has a right to him, who calls first? it's a waiver, it works the same as in every sport -- team with the worst record has first dibs and then down the line.
If someone claims him then they have to pay his salary. The Vikings are only responsible for his salary if he clears waivers.
Considering the contempt shown towards Moss, I really don't think he would come here. And he earned that. But I will say this: as a decoy alone, he would open things up considerably.
