I know Cotchery had a worse game but he has been great for years and never brags about his success.

After 2 terrible drops today, Santonio continues to do his stupid first down ball drop taunt after even simple catches. Hes on my own team and even I want to punch him after he does that.

At this point Braylon is definitely the main frontrunner to be resigned.

jesus. it is getting worse and worse. I guess David Clowney or Brad Smith could do much better than Holmes.

I seriously seriously DREAD coming to this website after a Jet lost. I love TGG I hate some posters.. especially when its some ignorant excrement like this. I know there's a chance I can be disciplined for saying that but I need to get this off my chest.

for what its worth, Braylon has less drops than Holmes, who has played in 4 less games...

Having Holmes is stellar, but if we are going to rip on Braylon for his drops, the least we can do is rip Holmes for his

Or we could take the high road and say they will fix the problem...

Well, if Holmes isn't playing well maybe we can resign him on the cheap. In no way has he shown he deserves to be paid #1 wide receiver money right now...that said, lets see how it plays out.

Everyone gets on Braylon for his drops...But it was Santonio who led the LEAGUE in drops last season.

This place is like a lunatic asylum after a loss. Jesus.

Santonio hasn't been great and yes he had bad drops--including one that looked like he could have gone the distance. However, he is seeing a lot of targets so Mark must be getting some chemistry going with him.

And I really don't see what Edwards has done to make him the prohibitive favourite to get resigned.

Exactly. It's just that Edwards has some really spectacular drops that make highlight reels, like the Bills game in Toronto last year.

    What's so bad about it?

The thread starter does not want Holmes to be re-signed. Of course, if Holmes starts to play well at some point this year (next week would be a fine time to start, Santonio), then the thread starter may sing a different tune in January.

I also do not need to see Holmes signal for first downs. It's gay.

I think I heard it was him and brandon marshall who led the league in drops.

Holmes dropping the ball on that crossing route was putrid. Yeah wasn't a perfect throw but you hold guys like Holmes to a higher standard than you do other receivers and you expect him to make that play.

I would have expected any receiver on this team to catch the ball in that situation. As the "best player on the field" Holmes shouldn't ever drop that ball

You are correct the throw was not perfect. That fucking Sanchez had the nerve to hit him in the fingers.

    1. Yes, Braylon is playing out of his mind and if the season ended today then he would deserve the new contract.

2.What will it take to get you out of here?
