You just heard Moose Johnston say what a bizarre series of play calls by the Jets after the big pass play to Keller. Like I said before the play calling today has been disjointed, repetitive and downright awful.
I'm not one to kill coaching based on knee-jerk reactions but that series of plays after kellers huge gain was an abomination.

Drops killed the Jets just as much if not more than Schotty did. How many did they have today? 7 or 8 i think. Then we have two guys getting the ball taken away from them while they are on the ground. you can point fingers at many things and you can moan about calls--but Shotty cost us this game----he was way too cute today--------JUST POUND THESE GUYS THEY ARE SO THIN UP FRONT but it is what it is. I watched one series ----that had Greene in on first down----LT in on 2nd---Greene back in on 3rd---a penalty was called pushed us back and Lt came back in----------our RB have zero chance to find their groove and get in a rythem with these assinine play calls and rotation of our RB's. This game should never have been this close we desreve this loss and if we miss the playoffs or a home field game look back at this bad loss
Schotty called some stupid shit today, but let's be honest, Sanchez played like shit, the receivers played like shit and Rex made some huge errors. Fake punt on 4th and 20 from your own 20 (or whatever it was) cost us 3 points, then he cost us another 3 points by burning the timeouts too early forcing the 4th and long attempt towards the end. Rex didn't learn from his mistake in the season opener, he allowed his staff to "over coach" again. This is the first time I can remember him not learning from a mistake. It was a bump in the road, the silver lining if you care to look for one, is that the defense looked outstanding. 24 is back to 100% and it showed, big time.
Rex needs to take blame for this disaster too.. how can he just let this dipshit Shittenheimer continue to ruin games with his bullshit playcalling? Playing a bad run D on a windy day? Sure, let's throw 40 times!!
