Ladies and gentlemen I bring to you The Jake F'N Locker show....

Jake Locker vs USC at USC: 24/39 313 yds passing 1 TD 0 INT
    12 rushes 111 yards including a 50 yard run.

Locker for the 2nd time as the Washington QB defeats the agile Trojans. However, this time Locker had suffered what seemed to be a concussion, only to come back in the 4th and lead the team to a GW FG.

Not to say this man is the best QB of his class but lets not just write him off YET. He just help carry the Huskies and defeat the favored Trojans in South Cal.

Stats don't really mean much at this point, even Tebow had big games during his senior year. What matters is his simple lack of next level QB talent.

And I don't get how people could have a Cutler comparison for him, Cutler's arm is a ton stronger.

He showed toughness, the comeback ability and put up good numbers. If he put up poor numbers like vs Nebraska, he would be scrutinized and killed yet again. He didn't this time and should get some props. USC D is vulnerable in the secondary I agree with you Electric but they are still a formidable and talented squad that is usually always quick to the ball and to receivers. USC has more talent than UW does and Locker's found a way to defeat them back to back years.

And he gets the Cutler comparison as in being on a team that has underachieving talent/being on a losing team which was the big gripe on Cutler when he was heading into the draft. Locker's WR have stone hands and have been dropping passes like they're hot. Been going on for 2 years from all I have been hearing.

Numbers mean something in the context of the offense. Completion percentage, turnover numbers, and yards per attempt mean something. Obviously, there are circumstances that play a part, but those are good starting points. Oftentimes an NFL arm and a few flashy games overshadow the raw numbers, and then you draft Joey Harrington or Cade McNown.

Didnt watch any of this game(It was 41-0 STAN very ugly...)

But Locker was awful according to stats. 7/14 67 yds 2 INTs. Luck wasn't a whole lot better but I think Stanford was just keeping the leash on Luck once the score got out of hand.

Andrew Luck accounted for two TDs. He ran for 92 yards and a touchdown and also threw one.

Jake Locker had one yard rushing on eight carries. He turned the ball over multiple times and his team was shutout.

Luck was a whole lot better.

Jake the Flake has a broken rib, and won't play in the Oregon game. Not that the Huskies had any shot with him, but this should effectively count as a forfeit by Sarkisian's troops. They say he should be back for UW's last three games, the only question is whether his persistent up and down pattern will let him end his Washington career on a high or low note.
