Just heard you guys cut DT Howard Green. With the loss of Jenkins this guy must have been a stiff to get cut. Thoughts? We're thin up front, 3-4 NT are in short supply these days.
Hes not bad but when you are facing the Packers we need more LB/DB. Hes been cut once and resigned already so its very possible it happens again after this week. Hes not bad but hes underwhelming. Just eats up a blocker really.
Wouldn't surprise me if we put in a claim for this guy. We could use him for a couple of games till Jenkins and Pickett get healthy. Plus we could pick his brain for some inside info, a move Ryan is famous for. We'll see..
Green isn't that good and he doesn't see too many snaps. He might know the defense, but if he plays he won't make an impact. The dude has been cut and resigned about 4 times this season alone.
Since I was a kid and started watching the NFL, I've always wanted the NFC to be represented by the Packers in the SB. I love the history of that franchise. So, hopefully after losing this sunday, you start winning some games so we can see eachother one more time this season.
I feel the same way, my best friend when I was younger was (still is) a Packers fan, so I have always kind of liked them byproxy. I think a mutual despisal of Favre also keeps me from disliking the pack. This game, however, fuck them.

Same here, my best friend is a packers fan and his AFC team is the Jets cuz of me, plus he can watch a game he cares about every week. Overtime it turned me into liking the packers as my NFC team as well, I like how they are owned by the fans and would love to goto a game there one day.

Yeah on my fantasy team I am really hurting at running back. I have Greene and Addai as my starters and Greene hasnt done anything for me this year. I think I might release him or put in Forsett my backup in place for him. I am 3-4 and need a win as well. The waiver wire is full of a bunch of terrible running backs. The only one I see is Jonathan Stewart is out there, that is my best bet.
You might play Greene this week as there is a good chance both backs will have 100 yard days. The problem you have with Shonn has is that in goal line situations LT will be carrying the ball in to the end zone.
Ok thanks for the advice. I want my team to win but at the same time if we give up a few big runs with us way ahead then Ill be happy lol. If you guys can get some huge runs but no points to show for it then I will be happy. I get a point for every 10 yards rushing he gets.
