As commish of my own league, would you allow this trade?

    Andre Johnson, WR
    Devery Henderson, WR

    For

    Dwayne Bowe, WR
    Peyton Hillis, RB

I wouldn't. Andre Johnson is the best receiver in the game, but Devery Henderson is nothing special.

It looks like Hillis the main back in Cleveland and Dwayne Bowe is a #1 WR.

...so you're trading an elite player and a mediocre-at-best player for a starting running back and a go-to receiver that plays for a mediocre passing team.

    It's not that uneven.

It looks one sided but if the guy trading Johnson needs help at running back he has to do something.

At this point in the season I wouldn't veto this just because Johnson has been pretty inconsistent this year and while he is going to put up monster games it might be preferable for the guy trading him to be guaranteed starters carries from Hillis and still have the potential for monster games from Bowe. It really depends on the balance of the league and whether or not the guy trading Johnson is in desperation mode or just making a dumb move.

Why is everybody saying they would not allow the trade and then say why it's an even deal?

They are responding to the question in the title. Would you deny this trade? No.

sounds good, thanks guys. Im bias a little because he has been pulling off some fairly favorable trades and the guy has loaded his team. He's my friend, but im not sure if people are stacking his team or not.

This is who he currently has...

    Rivers
    Turner
    Rice
    Moreno
    A Johnson
    C. Johnson
    Holmes
    Gates

Dude is killing the trade market, I refuse to believe he's this good at making deals....

Either way, thanks for the input guys...

I'd allow it. I disagree with most posts, looks to me like the guy getting Bowe and Hillis is getting the better of the trade regardless of how he's doing.

None of those other guys are in the same conversation as Andre Johnson.

Same here. I did not even look at the question for the poll. Assumed it was the same as the question in the first post.

I would let the trade go through.

I would not deny the trade.

If a trade is not obviously collusion, then let it pass.

Yeah, asking veto in the poll and allow in the post was confusing. I had to read that a few times to see what I was voting for.

Absolutely allow the trade. If I made this deal from either side and it got vetoed, I'd be pissed. The Andre side gets the better deal, but Hillis has been a beast so far, and there's little reason that can't continue barring injury. Bowe is talented, too.

Andre Johnson is the most valuable guy in the deal but the guy trading him away is essentially getting two starters for one.

I don't know that I would make this trade as a GM but it seems fair enough to avoid a veto.
