Cotchery in the doghouse? What are you talking about. This is Braylon's first season since 2007(16 tds) with a full season with a competent QB...and he is putting up great numbers in a run first offense. (he's one of the best run blocking WRs too) I agree Jones would be a solid 2 on most teams....but what does that have to do with the Jets? Jennings would be anywhere from 1-3 on the Jets, depending on the day.....(mostly 1/2) he's a sick WR. But Jones over Holmes, Edwards, and Cotch? come on
Cotchery was in what doghouse? Driver wouldn't be a #2 on this team so how would Jones? He's still not Revis.
All I kept hearing preseason on NFLN and from guys like Schefter was that Cotchery was in the doghouse and with the addition of Holmes that he'd be a 3 at best on your team. Driver had his knee scoped in the offseason and gutted out the last game with a quad injury. Didn't practice all week and didn't catch a ball breaking his streak of 130+ games with a catch. He is starting to slip and show his age this year. He's number 2 out of respect but numbers don't matter with our passing game. We'll spread you out and go four wide. Your nickle and dime guys better be ready. You'll know who Mr. Jones is after Sunday.
So Cotchery is in the doghouse because "guys like Schefter" said so? Cotchery has never been in the doghouse, just like Revis has never been a poor tackler. You should really educate yourself on a team before making such bold statements about one.
Maybe the dumbest thing said about Cotch in his career. Yeah, you as well. And here's the difference between our OL - the Jets actually protect.
I think that makes 10 now on IR and we're still 4-3. Lost 3 games by 9 points. Yeah, we used to be real deep. Testament to Ted Thompson and the team he put forth that we're still relevant. Anybody got a violin?
I think it's gonna be a close game and high-scoring too. Thinking 37-33 jets. Jets 200 rushing yards 2td 230 passing 2td 1int Packers 75 rushing yards 290 passing 3 td 2 int
LMAO. Cotchery in the dog house? Sceftler never said that... never. He may have questioned if there were enough targets to go around... and to ARod who started off so well. Since all you seem to know about the Jets is from what you see on Sports Center, you should know that LT has played great, far and above any expectations. Barnett over rated? Why, just because he's injured? Mathews is a one dimensional player, but he gets sacks, so he gets over rated. Hawk is a better LB thasn Mathews is. You think the Jets will play cover 2? LMFAO. No, that isn't what the Jets do. Expect to see Rodgers get run over a bunch of times on Sunday. Be happy if he doesn't get hurt. He'll be spitting rubber chips out of his mouth all day. I would not be so cocky if Finley was playing. He is the piece that is missing, he was the only mismatch GB had to exploit against this defense. Rodgers will get his 300 yards, and his 3 piks along with 5 sacks and a fumble. By the 4th quarter, Raji will be on the sidelines sucking on an ox mask. Jets, 34-17
I'd like to think that if I was a fan of a soon to be .500 team that I wouldn't be so moronic on my opponents forum. Spew wrong facts and make retarded statements on your own forum where they'll be well received.
Wrong facts like? Sorry, I'm not into the Jet kool-Aid like you are. Why even bother with the game? Super Bowl? Just give it to you guys now.. Lol.
No offense man, but saying things like Cotchery was in the doghouse couldn't be farther from the truth. If I were to guess who would be the least likely to ever get in trouble with the team out of our 53 man roster...Cotchery would be a leading candidate. Edwards and Holmes have their issues, but Cotchery is probably one of the most classy guys in the league right now.
Not making it up at all, just what I heard from news outlets. When you guys got Holmes, Shefter and Clayton were saying how Cotchery wouldn't like being the number three guy. He'd have to go along with it, he's in the doghouse anyway based off his 2009 season or something to that affect. I'm not making that up. With regards to Revis, I came off a little strong on the tackle take, I admit. I've have heard earlier in his career it was a problem. Playing press man on an island with no help on go routes, you're not going to be involved in a lot of tackles around the line of scrimmage. Woodson is the better tackler IMO because he's around the LOS more than Revis and therefore gets more chances to do it. I'll take your word that he's gotten better at it, fair enough.
The bold gives you away. Not one ounce of that is true. ESPN is the worse outlet to get your news from for anything. None of that was reported locally, or by any other national media outlet. Its complete bullshit. Cotchery is not only loved and respected by everyone, he isn't the type to be upset with the move to #3 when you have the talent at the ends in Edwards and Holmes. Rookie years for most skill position players should be thrown out when regarding them in their current state..... Wait, because Woodson does it more he's better at it? That doesn't make sense. Let's say Football Outsiders or one of the other scientific 3rd party analysts grade them both on their LOS tackling of TEs and RBs, and Revis grades out higher.... Woodson's better due to more chances. Revis is the more complete corner, but his talent in Rex's system is wasted if he's not manned up on an island. Its all about the system a player plays in. If they both played in the same exact system, then you might have a strawman's argument.
every week one of these troll clowns shows up early in the week full of fire and brimstone and then on Sunday or Monday -- like the Bronco, Vikings etc fans that preceded them in the last few weeks gone goodbye and back under their rocks like cockroaches
