Show some love for Dig! http://mobile.newsday.com/inf/infom...min&feed:c=sports&feed:i=1.2404723&nopaging=1
Quite a few average to medicore players have really elavated their game since Rex has come onboard.....except the Ghost.
yeah, Ihedigbo is a lot of fun to watch. And his hits do look like they hurt a little more than some others' do.
To show how he gets blown up by Ihedigbo. He is a beast and he's having a great year. At the end of last season, he was laying the lumber for sure on ST.
In all fairness, The Ghost has elevated his level of play as well. He used to be absolutely useless, now he's barely useful. Way to go Vern!
I love Dig. Not the most talented guy in the world, but he is a backup safety after all. He is fiery and does improve his game every year. It seems like we got a solid back up safety for the next 5 years.
I know we didn't get him while Rex is around but Dig is a typical Rex Ryan player. You've got to thank Mangini for at least putting some great pieces in place, even if he didn't use them properly.
you want the nfl, go to the nfl. last year when i considered buying one, i had to customize it entirely. this year, he's an option in the pull down menu. movin' up, i guess.
When people ask me who my favorite jets players are, ihedigbo makes the list with guys like Sanchez, revis, mangold, and cotchery
I tried to find one before the season started but looks like the only way to get one is have it custom made
This vid was from August 09, some prophetic words towards the end of the interview. In relation to how the Jets style of play would change.
There is going to be a day where Digs just scares a ballcarrier to the ground. He'll just walk up and put his hand out, the ballcarrier will just hand him the football, and then Digs will point to the floor and the ballcarrier will sit while Digs walks to the endzone, because no other teammate of the ballcarrier would dare stop Digs from scoring. You just don't fuck with this dude. On a serious note. He sniffed out Tebow's TD. He just couldn't get the help on the edge and got beat. I felt bad for him. He knew what the play was, he just couldn't get everyone over and he couldn't get in position to make the play on his own.
