They should just let him buck lines of coke in the huddle. It'd probably make his decision-making better.
They should pull a Byron Leftwich with Favre
Serious question: couldn't Favre just take the opening series and then hand it over to Jackson, thereby keeping his streak alive? Or would that not count as a start? Could also be a dumb question.
He could do that....but it'd be putting an individual, meaningless streak over the team. That wouldn't happen. He could still do it, but it wouldn't be predetermined like that....it'd be an in the moment thing.
If he does that it would be premeditated. He would take the opening series, throw a pick than deem himself too hurt to play. But since he's such a cool, tough guy he gets credit for even going out there. He's such a fag.
There's no way they'd start him solely to keep the record in-tact, then put Jackson in the next series. That'd just be more fuel for the fire of controversy surrounding Favre right now, and potentially create a "schism" behind closed doors.
Vikings are going nowhere. If Favre gets to 300 starts that would be an all-time historic feat. The streak is probably more valuable than the Vikes season right now.
It is already an all-time historic feat for a quarterback and of course the Vikings season is more important than Favre's consecutive games started streak.
