I didn't pay for it and other than slight choppiness in Q4, it was about as perfect as can be. I work with with streaming video for my job and I didn't see any artifacts at all. It was definitely the best stream I have ever grabbed when it comes to live sports.. I also didn't pay for it. I downloaded the Veetle player and bam, I was in..
The commentators, the music/sound effects, the obnoxious use of close-ups and that goddamn dancing robot. At least watching at a bar eliminates half of that.
try this Live inFL. Use broadband and catch all the games in excellent resolution. http://www.myp2p.eu/index.php?part=sports Of course there's no guarantee that this will last, PS Have watch all Knicks and Ranger games as well.
Just a reminder to anyone who has issues catching any NY sports teams Yanks, Mets Rangers, Isles, Devils, Knicks, Nets, Giants, or JETS...... A really good site to check out is Stealthshot.com, the video is HD the service is top notch and the price won't kill you and you can even go month to month...about 7 Bucks per, for all the NY sports.... I would also have to mention there are other goodies as well but not to discussed here in an open forum. One last thing, that is the fellowship of the other members if you chose to particapate (sp) in the forum.....pretty good folks a great place to catch the games if you are out of town or simply cannot afford the rising price of sports packages on you local providers
It is somewhat related. With Fox covering a home Jet game, it means the Giants can't be home on Sunday because of the shared stadium and they can't be away on Sunday afternoon because of Fox already having the Jets in the NY market. Same thing when the Giants host an AFC team and CBS has the game on a Sunday afternoon. The other team either needs to be in a prime time or Thursday game, or a bye week. Considering it's a maximum of twice a year each way they get around it pretty easily, especially when one or both teams are good enough to merit a prime time game. You'll often see them play the out of conference home games in prime time, like when Minnesota came in this year.
That's not right. FOX can get both NY teams on the same day. Jets home against NFC team, Giants on the road. It happened 2 years ago, on 11/9. Jets hosted Rams at 1, Giants played @ Philly at 4. I'm guessing the NY market got 2 games in the 4pm slot on that date, with the CBS game being the national game.
My mistake, it was (possibly flexed though?). I'll see if I can find another example of both teams playing on a single network Sunday afternoon.
I get the stupid letterbox version on FOX where the numbers are smaller than they should be for some reason.
Yeah, we all love to hear Dan Dierdorfs point on commentary. The guy is as knowledgable as they come.
No it freaking doesn't. Last year, our week 12 and week 15 games were on FOX. The Giants had their 2009 bye in week 10.
If I saw correctly, I just saw on Eyewitness News that FOX turned down Cablevisions 1-year offer hmy: .
