in our last 15 games, [including playoffs]

it seems like no one is mentioning this, so i just wanted to get this out here.

this is what top notch teams do, they have runs like this.

and if somebody wants to say, well the colts layed down for a quarter and a half, then ok, were 11-4 in our last 15 games, whatever.

except in 98, I dont remember such a run.

    keep it up JETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought this was gonna be a "should we rest our starters against the Bills in week 17?" thread.

In 98, we started 0-2, then we were 13-2 in the last 14 and divisional game going into AFC championship

Cool story...But I don't want this team to be the next 1998 Jets. That team still shit itself in the end.

We are the 2010 Jets, and I want to go all the way!

This is cool and all but all I care about is being 5-1 this year and keeping the loss column at less than 4.

The Jets had a run like this in 1968. They went 13-3 and won the pro football championship.

2 of the losses were for a combined 4 points...the other was in the AFCCG

    Not bad

Actually yeah I have been quiety tracking that.
That and the quality of the losses we suffered in that 6-7 stretch last year is what I think gives this team a different quality than teams in the past.

New Orleans and the Pats in the Foxboro game were the only teams to actually outplay the Jets for their W's

Jets should have won 12 games last year.

I think there is a general consensus amongst not only Jets fans, but analysts and even some fans Pats fans here in NE that we haven't seen this team peak yet.

That my brosefs is the scary part.

the 3 losses also were all close games

ravens game was by a point
falcons game was right at the end
colts game we led at halftime and had a fighting chance

In my heart of hearts, I believe if Shonn Greene did not get injured in that Colts game we would have been the ones playing the Saints in that Super Bowl :(

Having our two #1 corners hold out would have been horrible...

Winning the Super Bowl..I would freak..I wouldn't know what to do. I feel it coming though, & it feels good. For now just taking 1 game at a time.
