I wish you good luck but not too much good luck. You guys have a great football team this season. It will be tough but I hope my team can pull of a huge upset. Here is to a good game this week with no injuries. Best of luck after this game.
I said all year that you guys would be the biggest test of our defense we have all season. Even with the injuries I still think it will be. Hope Revis really is 100%.
You guys have had our number. You have beaten us twice in our stadium then beat us 42-17 in the meadowlands. Our last victory over you guys was in 1994. We won 17-10.
I thought this was going to be a loss for us but after losing Grant and Finley I expect a hard fought win here.
I was looking forward to this game a lot more before all the Packers injuries. I still think the Packers have a good team but I really feel that without all their weapons they can't matchup with our D. I still expect a tough game but I'm gonna say the Jets win 31-23 with the Pack moving the ball decently all game but unable to finish drives with td's and a few turnovers too.
GB sure is hurting in the injury dept. Mathews and Woodson are still there, and they can make game changing plays. Rodgers had some pretty shaky throws against Minny though, and he has to play a great game if GB is to challenge the Jets. GB is one of those teams I have always liked. Hopefully, the GB visitors this week won't get my back up with dopey trash talk. AtoJ, you seem like a level headed GB fan. What matchups to you see as crucial? You see Keller as a threat for a big game? You think GB will load the box and challenge Sanchez to throw? What D game plan do you expect to see from the Pack? I think the Jets will go all out after Rodgers, and try to force GB to run. Finley would have been a great weapon to use this week. What do you think of Quarles? Can he have a big game if left in LB coverage?
Another huge test for the Jets O-Line. They did great against Minnesota's really nasty front seven. This time, it'll be a notch or two down on the D-Line but a notch or two up in the linebacking corps. Stopping Clay Matthews will be extra tough.
Good luck...after Sunday. I respect the Packers and it sucks they've had so many key injuries You need to beat the Pats for us later this year! (You might want to consider changing your username, if Revis really is 100%....that's not happening) Also...which Packers forum do you post at...if you post at one. I can't find a good one to look at..just want to see the perspective on this game from your side.
Yeah I was rooting pretty hard for GB last night. I'm a believer that if a team loses a game, they're twice as hungry to win the next week. They are then "due" if you will. Look at how hard Denver played us last week, they were doing everything they could to beat us and to be still considered to have a shot at the playoffs. It is good that GB came off of a win from a team within their division to play the Jets, who aren't even in their conference. The Packers have been focused on beating Favre for one week, while the Jets have had two weeks to focus on them.
the packers passing attack is as close to the colts passing attack as we get this yr itll be a real test to see if the secondary can shut green bay down since we prolly have to go thru the colts to win the afc
I asked him int he other Packers thread too, I can't find any that are popular. This is the best I found....they have no threads on the Jets yet though: http://www.packerchatters.com/4ums/index.php?showforum=18 (Next oppoent forum) http://www.packerchatters.com/4ums/index.php?showforum=1 (main one)
