Seriously, they sticked a "Fire Dan Henning" thread. Started a facebook group. Grassroots campaign down in Miami lol. Apparently, they think that we have Manning at the QB position and AD in the backfield, so we should go for it on every 4th and short.
Actually it seems like your fan base is split into 3 distinct factions. One is that Henning is the root of all your problems and needs to be fired. The second is the Sparano is the root of all evil and needs to be fired. The third is that Henne is holding back an otherwise great offense and needs to be benched for Tyler Thigpen.
So Henne is not Manning?? Thank You for being honest. lol After the Pats loss that board was all about starting Pennington, now that was funny. So Henning is the scapegoat this year, even though the defense is doing just as bad? I'm just asking since you're in the know.
Yeah, I've heard them all. Henne is fine, Sparano is fine, Henning is fine. The team is good, not great. Occam's razor.
I like the defense, I just wish they'd do better on 3rd down and stop giving up the big play. Miami's opponents on 3rd down average over 8 yards to go. But somehow, they suck on third down defense. They give up big plays. If they played as well on third down as they do first and second, they'd be fine. On the opposite end of that, Miami's offense isn't great on first and second down, but they have one of the best 3rd down offenses in the NFL. Really, what the fuck?
And the Packers. There's only so many NFC North teams we can beat. As I said, I think they're good. Two of their losses came down to ineptness in the 2 minute offense. They'll get better, and they're not bad right now. I think I can name 2 NFC teams I think are better than Miami. That's not saying much though.
