    well thats peachy.....

watching rodgers sling the ball all over the field last night had me thinking that a healthy revis is a necessity next week.

Our pass defense is about to go from average to better than last year. Teams like the Packers who don't have much of a running attack are going to really struggle to move the ball on us.

If Nacho can play solid, we're going to be very hard to beat.

He says it feels 100% today. I want to see how he feels the morning after a hard practice. He has said before that his leg feels "great" and then come post game (and allowing a few too many passes) he is saying how it wasn't 100% etc.

Lets hope this if for real. Doesn't matter how the packers offense looks, ARod is dangerous

β€œIt means an unoccupied island,” Bart Scott said. β€œI think we had trolleys and ferries pulling up to the island. But now the island is going to be protected.”

The only thing better than Revis being 100% would be if he were Vontae Davis.

I really can't wait until our D steps up like we all know it will.

I'm sick of people calling it overrated or assuming that it's because the league caught on to Rex's tendencies.

His hamstring may be 100%, but he still looks rusty out there.

Agreed! dont expect the 09 Revis to return until at least the last quarter of the season if at all this year.

This is also true, but at least the hamstring won't be a problem anymore hopefully and he can focus on his game now. Revis has been playing the last few games and I think shutting down Donald Driver is a good test for him this week. If the guy catches 2 balls or less, then I think Revis is nearly back to his old self.

He hasn't been 100% yet this season.

...and he looked pretty damn good last game.

Not Revis good, but still VERY good.

With the improvements he made last game, and this declaration....I expect Revis Christ and the #1 Pass D in the NFL to be back.

Which is scary with the way Cromartie's been playing.

Great to hear. Hate the fact were 22nd in pass defense. I want back into the top 5 by the next fins game. Revis is the answer.

    ALL HAIL REVIS!!!!!!!

I'm just glad we weathered the storm while Revis was hurting.....we need that guy at 110% for the playoffs.

Even with the pass defense struggling look at the completion percentage for the QB's that have played the Jets. Teams have been able to get some balls over the top so far this year when they couldn't last year. Revis back and playing like Revis is going to make it damn near impossible for QB's to put up high yardage totals.
