Was Al Michaels afraid to pronounce the name like "coon", or is "qyuune" the actual way his name is pronounced?
The former is the correct pronunciation, so Michaels is either afraid or is misinformed. This reminds me of a former Iowa State running back named Ryan Kock. Announcers always pronounced his name so it would rhyme with crotch (ironic, that) as opposed to rhyming with rock.
Looks like Peterson finally fixed his fumble problem this season. Once he retires, where do you guys think AP will rank among RB's all time?
If he has a few more excellent seasons, he'll br right up there with the greats. I think Jim Brown, Walter Payton, and Barry Sanders are probably the top 3 all-time. Van Buren, Simpson, Smith, Sayers, and Campbell might be my next 5, but I'd have to think about it some more. If Chris Johnson and Peterson continue to play at a high level for a few more seasons, they could get onto many historians' top 10 best backs list.
