    Crompton was very mediocre at Tennessee, but saying he's one of the most inept quarterbacks you've ever seen is just stupid.

    He had a halfway decent senior season in a pro-style offense. I have no problem bringing in a young kid that could potentially grow into a long term backup. Kellen Clemens won't be a Jet after this season and Mark Brunell can't play forever.

    It's not like we're bringing him in to start.

    Westerman plays both middle and outside backer. I think the move of cody brown makes the most sense because jets need help at rushing the passer

    Out of the QBs who were possible draft picks... of course there's way worse than him.

    Idk, it's probably because I kind of started following Tennesse last year and Crompton instead made me hate them. That's why I don't want him here so bad... but I agree if he comes here it would be as a long term backup project so he wouldn't do any harm.

    Per a source, Jets will elevate LB Josh Mauga to active roster after releasing Kenwin Cummings earlier today.
