That is a great post, who has put him on the level as Manning, Brady or Brees? Most Jet fans just want to see more consistency out of him and would hardly call him the best player on the team. I'm not sure how you can call a rookie who won two road playoff games overrated?
This is a stupid poll with shitty results. As some people have mentioned, what players voted for were the divas (TO) and the big market QBs (Sanchez, Eli, Romo). None of these players are overrated (except maybe Romo), TO was a free agent until almost training camp the last two seasons, and had to sign with the Bills last season. I don't think anyone considers him an elite WR anymore, yet he's having a pretty good season, much better than Ochocinco so far. Nobody ranks Sanchez all that high to begin with, and he's showing huge improvement this year. Eli has won a Superbowl, and is an above average QB, if people started saying he was better than Tom Brady or Peyton then I would say he's overrated, but I think most people would have him ranked around the 10th best QB in the NFL, which sounds about right. Jealous would be a better term for this poll than overrated when it comes to TO, Sanchez, Eli, and Romo. If we want to talk about overrated QBs, what about Carson Palmer? Dude is considered an elite QB yet he has continually sucked since he got hurt in the playoffs a few years ago, and now he has a good RB and two very good receivers and is holding his team back. Jay Cutler is like a worse Brett Favre, he loves to throw it up for grabs, yet people freaked out about Denver trading him, they're already better off with Orton. But nobody is going to single out the QB for Cincy and Chicago as overrated, it's gonna be NY and Dallas. Nothing to see from this poll, unless it pisses off Sanchez and fuels him, but I don't think he'll give a shit about this and I think he's quite motivated without any of this crap.
