Yes, its the dreaded bye-week weekend coming up. All of us married guys know full well what this means. Hunnydo's will dominate the conversations and wars over the remote control will begin sometime Sunday morning. I really feel for you guys that don't have DirecTV as we do have both the ST and the RZC for our football fix. Some of you will be stuck with your regional games and for those outside of NY/NJ/CT, this can become painful real quick. Even the Giants play on monday nite. Speaking for myself, I have yardwork to do on Saturday, then college football, then perhaps a movie (of my choosing) with wifey on a Sunday matinee. Do a little RZC when we get back. I would advise you married guys to make a plan now instead of having wifey schedule your weekend for you. For you bachelors, it might be a good to spend a lil quality time as its gonna probably be a long, cold winter (if you get my drift..). Anyway, I'm curious as to what the good citizens of TGG will be up to this weekend of No Jets, No Jints, No New York Football .
Taking the fam to spend the weekend at my sister's in Delran NJ in Eagles country. She's a lone Jet fan in a flock of bird lovers. Gonna put the kids on a hayride, do a maze, and I promised the wife to cook 1 night. I learned to make sushi...
Wife is going to her mother's. I'm spending the weekend finishing the refit of the bathroom, probably accompanied by a case of beer and whatever game is most interesting.
Meh, she deserves a break too. I don't mind cause they have to eat my cooking so it breaks even...lol
i'm really looking forward to this sunday. a great lineup of football imo. first pittsburgh @ miami, then new england @ san diego, and then minnesota @ green bay. i'd like to see the home teams prevail in all the games.
actually between the night and 4pm games, I've been somewhat productive on Sundays so far. Although with school on saturdays from 9-6, then work after that, then a few beers I'm not that motivated sunday morn. I'm either a) helping my dad prepare to tile their house (if they're ready).... he also has the NFL ticket, so who knows how much work will get done. b) going to have a buddy show me some website building stuff (after he gets to watch the Eagles) c) fish and drink beer, and watch the later games. (did this 2 weeks ago, great day) I like C, should do B, but probably will end with a combo of A&C
3 days out of a 4 and half year relationship, soooooo im going to the bar for the weekend, getting drunk with my buddies......
Same as always for me. Watch the morning games (for the west coast), spend the afternoon out with the wife and kids, and fix dinner while watching the Sunday night game. The only thing that changes the routine is a 1 PM kickoff (again, west coast) for the Jets. On those days, we don't leave the house.
I am going to visit Mark Sanchez to work on his footwork and him staring down receivers. I heard this was a problem.
I will continue my Sunday regiment. Work until 3, but start watching the games on my computer at 1. come home, have a beer, rip a bong, then watch some afternoon games if there any good ones on. Otherwise, I have Total Recall on backup.
I'll be watching football, starring at my fantasy football team sans Dustin Keller and Jets defense .
Heading up to the Catskills tonight. Golf tomorrow, which should be quite cold, but I am in for it since it's all set up, and I went to the driving range. Camping out on 30 acres with some buds. Bringing the chain saw. Saturday should take a hike up some mountain. Maybe some off roading. Needless to say the weekend will be a total boozefest. Back on Sunday afternoon, not sure what time yet.
