Any craft beer drinkers in the house? Sound off on anything good or interesting you've tried recently.

I'm fortunate enough to have a local beer store that lets you mix your own 6 pack for $10. He carries about 1200 different craft beers so you can really get a good deal on some great beers if you know what you're doing.

Tried a Dundee Oktoberfest last night brewed by the Dundee Brewing Company out of Rochester, NY. One of the better Marzens I've had, extremely smooth and balanced beer. Pick one up if you get the chance.

    What is everyone else drinking?

If you're into Hefeweisses try Franziskaner's version of it. It's becoming more readily available. It's my favorite Belgian Hefe.

I recently had Magic Hat's 'Hex'. Its a German Ale, around a 5.5 % and pretty dark.

Just had Stone Ruination Double IPA on tap. Big, big hoppy flavor with a bit of sweetness. Had a couple of these and followed with a Southern Tier Creme Brulee, a virtual dessert beer, also on tap. Sweet vanilla taste.

I also had Dogfish Head's 60 Minute IPA recently. Creamed my pants. Amazing.

If you think the 60 was good, try the 90 if you can find it. An incredibly huge, complex brew. Great citrusy, piney, hoppy bite.

I'll try. Hard to find and afford great beers when you're 19 and in college. Also- by 'craft' do you mean microbrews or are you referring to just non-mainstream? Im not keen on beer lingo past glass shapes, hops, malts and beer types.

Lagunistas Undercover Investigation Shutdown IPA is madness.

fuck I was at a fund raiser at a major beer distributor texting my friend names of stuff I've never had.

I think it was by Northern Tier but I had a Creme Brulee Stout that was about 11 ABV and smelled and tasted like desert.

Southern Tier Creme Brulee is 10.00 ABV but has only the slightest hint of alcohol.

I do like it when there's good expansion, though. Adds to the experience. Jus sayin...

Craft beers are fine and all that, but I am more than satisfied with something like Smithwick's Irish Amber. I could drink alot of that.

I love sitting under an umbrella whilst imbibing...it protects my delicate complexion. Also, I do so hate getting the vapors.

P.S.: this is kick ass beer:

If you think the 90 was good, try the 120 if you can find it.

    Seriously. It's good.
