As voted on by NFL players (I think SI does the survey)

Don't know if I really agree with Owens. I mean, he's not really highly regarded now.

First off, I could give a shit and I'm sure Sanchez doesn't either.

All this does is fuel his fire.

How all of those players who were sitting on their couches watching Mark play very well in the AFCG can make that statement is beyond me.

I think last year, Leon Washington was voted the NFL's most underrated player, for what it's worth.

I didn't know he was rated highly to begin with. I've never heard anyone say they think he's good.

And yet he's the QB for a 5-1 team that is scoring the 3rd most points per game in the league. I'll take it.

there's been so much hype on the Jets train this year that it's easy to pretty much pick anyone and say he's overrated (LT is the lone exception since people were talking like he's done and obviously he's far from that).

It doesn't mean he's not a good young up and coming QB, it just means the hype outweighs the performance... and there's been a ton of hype

Ok..lets be real, any new york or dallas quarterback, unless they are a superbowl winning QB will be considered overrated. Sanchez knows this comes with the territory and Im sure he doesn't give a shit as long as hes winning

Forget about the "unless" part. Eli Manning is a Super Bowl-winning QB, and he's fifth on the list.

The summary of this in SI does not say when the poll was taken. If it was after week 1, it's understandable; if it was in the past couple of weeks, anyone who says Sanchez is overrated is an idiot.

I'm just glad he's third in the NFL in anything that isn't turnovers.

Jim Rome calls it the haters poll, and actually said the only person on the list that was overrated was Romo.

The voters read that but voted as:
"Which NFL player are you sick of hearing about?"

    I saw this and laughed.

Who is putting him on the same level as the best QBs in the league? The players only have last season to go on, so they don't see the progression.

    This is a non-story.

Yeah where? Here, or at that Finfan suck fest, Finheaven?

I never heard one Jets fan say this, not one.

Anyway in the realm of retarded uninformed fan polls this one really stings...... not.

    I think its crap

Who is saying that Sanchez is great? Anybody? He is a second year QB with an ass load of physical and mental talent. Hes working hard and hes learning. Is anyone comparing him with Peyton Manning or Tom Brady? Has anyone said hes on the same level as Drew Brees? I think these players are pissed off because he gets alot of publicity, is what I think.

If anyone on the Jets is MVP worthy at this point it's LT.

The poll is lame, it was made during pre-season and maybe after the 1st game of the season.

From one quote out of the entire spectrum of media in the NFL.

Don't try to spin it. It makes you look foolish.
