i never really felt the need to do that while i was playing. i had enough bottle caps to get what i needed without ever storing anything at any of my hideouts, besides a few of the really big guns. i guess we just have different styles of play.
That's not where i'm going with that, realistic meaning the strength attribute allows you to use a big weapon more effectively, that doesn't seem realistic? I guess not And hey if we have a nuclear war, who knows what will happen, maybe a guy in armor will come around and fuck up some crazy mutated people ... just saying hmy:
I loved Fallout 3. New Vegas should be good, but it doesn't look like there will be any drastic changes.
in a nutshell for those who havent played Fallout 1 and 2, New Vegas should be WAY better than Fallout 3 simply because some of the members of the original Fallout development team are actually on board for this one. some of the things that 1 and 2 had; that 3 didnt was better AI, alot more dialogue options and outcomes (good and bad) depending on your Speech and INT. also the character development was far better in the earlier ones. characters had more backstory and youd be forced to sometimes do missions that relate to them and not the final end story of the game. and im guessing more "inappropriate" shit. Fallout 3 was alright but 1 and 2 had ALOT more content that would fall under the M Rating category. either way basically its gonna be Fallout 3 but better. What I like is how theyre bringing it back to the west coast where parts 1 and 2 took place. with the factions like the NRC and others. Going to Reno and Fallout2 was fucking priceless. aside from the crime ridden city you could wreak havoc in casino's (if your badass enough) and become a boxing champion. anyways end rant

From E3 http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Paladinjames92/G4TV_gameplay_video Awesome video, I like what they are doing with this game, the anticipation is building.
I was a fallout 3 junkie. I logged 117 hours on it and have 1440 out of 1550 gamescore in it. Fallout 3 was the first Fallout game I've played and I loved it. From the pervious things ive seen of Fallout: New Vegas it didnt really wow me. Just looked like they changed minor things added a few new guns and just moved it out west. But after playing Fallout 3 it was such an awesome experience i will buy any game named Fallout just like i do with COD and ill buy every DLC they release. But after watching that video and the talk of upgrades for weapons, the guns they showed and the hardcore mode talk ( having to actually eat and drink to survive) made me absolutely pumped for October the 19th. The graphics look pretty much identical but sounds like they improved a lot of stuff for the better. I cant wait!
http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/111/1116607p1.html Thought this would be a nice, short, entertaining read.
I can't wait for this one to come out. The only one I played was FO3 and was addicted too. Should be entertaining.
yea i started the other one today cuz i brain farted n couldnt find old thread. I just hope its longer than Fallout 3.
Yeah I didn't even see your thread my fault ... I'm hoping for - Better story plot ... ultimately it being longer - Less glitches - More areas with enemies - Good DLCs (Area 51 poss?) I've been staying away from the news as of late, there so much information out there about this game, I think it could ruin my experience with plenty of spoilers I spent nearly 150 hours playing FO3, there should be plenty to do in this game
i never played any of the DLC for FO3. I obliterated the game before trophies for it existed. and I'm not playing through again for trophies lol. FO 1 and 2 were more difficult. also they essentially had time limits to beat. dialogue options seemed more in depth too. as long as it takes longer to play through ill be satisfied. oh and in FO 1 and 2 you could have more chars in your party. would be nice if the game was a lil harder with 1 more char slot. Reno was a badass town in part 2. so 15 yrs later with Vegas they better be awesome lol seriously if youve never played the first 2 you should. games totally different but there was alot of stuff and open ended game play ahead of its time in those games.
They have Fallout 1 and 2 on 1 disk available in stores, once I finish New Vegas, I would like to go back and beat 1 and 2 just for the story, I heard 1 and 2 were amazing and way before their respective times They have some interesting companions as well in NV, hopefully the companion mode will be better in NV than in FO3 ... and if you haven't played any of the DLCs in FO3, they have some great DLCs worth checking out, not just because of the achievements / trophies but for the awesome weapons and entertaining quests. I was never into the whole Fallout universe until I bought 3 and I immediately became addicted to the whole story line and style of the game. They call this genre of games, Western RPGs, I used to play the Final Fantasies and Square Enix games, but I think they completely suck now and having Fallout was a breath of fresh air I suppose you can say
Soon as I get off work, I'm picking it up. I'm pumped. My x-box red ringed, but I got it repaired just for this game! I beat Fallout 3, and began replaying it on the Game of the Year addition when the X-box died -- so I didn't really get to play all the bonus content. I never played Fallout 1 or 2 -- but I wanted to, even went so far as trying to download them off a P2P program. So long, Social life after I pick this puppy up.
I never had a problem with over encumbering. I really carried as little as possible, and kept most of the stuff I didn't sell in my Megaton house. I play a very stealthy high charisma character. Typical Inventory for my Char -- Chinese Stealth Suit Lucky Shades Poplar hood Perforater Victory Sniper Rifle Xaulong Assalut Rifle (if shit got hectic) I hope they include some good stealth gear in New Vegas!
