Suggs and Lewis tell the Pats they DO NOT want a rematch in the playoffs!

Not sure if it’s bravado or confidence, but Ravens linebackers Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs said the New England Patriots might want to avoid a re-match in the postseason.

The Patriots’ 23-20 overtime win Sunday gives them a perfect 6-0 record against the Ravens in the regular season. But the Ravens routed New England, 33-14, in the teams’ first playoff meeting on Jan. 10.

“If we see them in the playoffs, we will be ready again,” Lewis said after Sunday’s loss. “I don’t think they did anything different other than throw the passes they always throw.”

Suggs was even blunter in his assessment, saying, “Like I said, he just better hope that he doesn’t see us again.”

Brady responded on Dennis and Callahan (WEEI) this morning...

On Terrell Suggs' postgame comments, including saying Baltimore will beat New England if they meet again in the playoffs:

TB: "Well, he had his chance so maybe if he gets another chance he can try to back those words up. We play those guys a lot and they've only beat us once..they talk a lot for only beating us once in nine years."

Ray Lewis always has something to say after a loss. For someone who's supposed to be such a badass he sure has a hard time accepting defeat like a man.

Good luck beating the Pats guys, if you do you'll see the Jets get a second chance of their own.

That's why the Jets bravado plays better than the Ravens. The Jets win with a little class, and when they lose they take it on themselves.

The Ravens boast when they win, and boast when they lose. And it is ALWAYS the refs fault, or the other team got lucky, or some other bogus bullshit excuse! It's always someone else's fault.

They lost a game yesterday that they should have put away by the 4th quarter. The reason they lost was that their defense and offense could not make any big plays in the last 25 minutes of the game, and Brady and the Pats defense did.

Ray Lewis is the biggest crybaby and whiner in the NFL.

Lewis reminds me of a punk who lived in my neighborhood when I was a teenager. He would try to bully you if you let him. When he got his butt kicked he would run off to a safe distance and yell threats at you.
He would say things like: "You haven't heard the last of me." and "I'm going to get you."

    Lewis is a blowhard jerk.

huh? they didn't do anything different other than throw the passes they always throw? how is throwing the the passes they always throw doing anything different if they always do it?!?

I swear, Ray Lewis has the intelligence of toilet paper.

Fun Fact! Ray Lewis whines about the refs the most of any player.. And yet the teams the Ravens have played are flagged the most.

That comment from Lewis didn't make sense to me either. I read it as, "They did what we thought they'd do, but we couldn't stop them when it mattered most anyway."

So... how is that a good thing for you, Ray?

I watched that game. The only Raven who should be talking is Haloti Ngata. Dude was tossing Patriots linemen around like ragdolls.

Brady owned both of them... it's actually funny to see some trash talk from the Golden Boy.

Fuck the Ravens, they are a "running into the kicker" away from being 3-3. What's funny is after that loss I didn't hear any Jet players saying "don't let those guys get us again" or "they were lucky" or thow it on the refs. They served us humble pie and we have let our play do the talking since.

Because the Jets knew they blew that game with conservative playcalling. Even Schotty said it was a mistake in how they played the game offensively.

I talked to a Ravens fan recently and he said the same thing, if the Jets had let Sanchez actually throw the ball in that game, Jets win by ten at least.

I saw a piece on Ray Lewis last year, on how he thinks he is some sort of poor man's savior, a messenger of god of some sort. He actually thinks he has a healing hand or some shit like that.
