...for the AFC East title. NE is not going to go away all season. Their young defense is just going to get better as the season goes on. I was definitely rooting for them to lose today. That game in NE later this year is going to be so huge.
To be honest, I thought the Dolphins were going to be more competitive than the Patriots this year. The Patriots have been very impressive, so far.
We are 3-0 against the AFC East and don't play another division opponent again for another month, as long as we keep winning games we will be fine.
As long as Brady is healthy and BB is still there they will always be competing for the division. The fins have talentless singer/actors as owners. They'll never win anything.
Actually, Patriots game worries me. Bills and Fags, no. The thing is, we beat the fags and jills at THEIR turf. That is huge. Pats game later on, however, will be at Foxboro. That game will be a tough one.
I dont think the patriots will be that much of a threat, hopefully Revis will be 100% by then. The steelers game should be a concern
NE will be tough as always, but their defense is still weak and you can't honestly say they are a better team with Brach instead of Moss. The Fish had a gutsy win today, but are still essentially 3 games back in the division with losses to the Jets and Pats. They also have a tough schedule coming up. The division race is still far from over, but we remain the early favorites.
agreed here. as of now, you guys are the undisputed best team in the division hands down. We got a tough stretch of teams coming up soon. The Steeler game this weekend will be rough.
Screw that dude, I was rooting for the Pats to win today. The Jets are first in the NFL now because of that game. I think rooting against the Pats in this case demonstrates SOJ attitude (not trying to call you out). We're clearly ahead of the Pats now, and we have root for the homefield advantage, not just simply hope we win the division.
I find this attitude pretty silly, especially in Week 6. The Jets have to win their division before they can worry about home field advantage, so I'm not sure how you figured that rooting for a division opponent(that isn't the Bills) was a good idea. Not to mention that this ridiculous premise was based on the assumption that there is not going to be one, but two 15-1 teams at the end of the season.
I really wanted to see the Jets get some separation by the Pats losing yesterday. They started off slow but looked very impressive in beating the Ravens. Their Defense has had its ups and downs but they seem to be putting it together. McCourty looks like he is going to be a solid, solid CB for a long time. Some of their young LB's look decent as well. On Offense, they are always dangerous with Brady behind center and they have a ton of weapons. We joke about Woodhead but they seem to have figured out a way use him that makes him a real weapon. Pats scare me more than any other team in the AFC right now.
