He will be back in true form he just needs some more game time reps to be in "football shape". how is that a cheap shot? I don't even see what's wrong with the Robinson hit. It was just a violent collision. He led with his shoulder and knocked the ball loose. It shouldn't be a personal foul.
on the leonhard call, i was ticked because that pass was awful. a 'hospital' ball. it makes no sense that now the qb can essentially chuck a punt and the receiver gets to fair catch it?! no! the db gets a run at the receiver. or the receiver can beg off. or the qb can not make that stupid pass.
When your wife wonders what that sound was coming from the TV, you know it was a good hit. My wife literally asked me if the sound came from the Revis hit. Thing of beauty!
The revis hit was awesome. Everyone at my house all jumped out of their seats!! The dunta hit didn't seem like a cheap shot, Jackson had the ball was coming down and then got killed. Isn't that the risk you take when you go over the middle???? This is why we watch football and this is also why these guys make millions.
agreed. that hit was way harder than the revis hit too. that was a pure, blind receiver going over the middle, punishing hit. as awesome as revis' hit was, the robinson one was the most violent CLEAN hit i have seen all year. i hope jackson is ok because i seriously believe the guy lost years of his life from that shot.
TOTALLY CLEAN & GREAT HIT!!!...how the hell do you say he's defenseless, if you watch the slow-mo you clearly see him catch the ball with both hands get one foot on the ground & the second the 2nd foot touches the ground he gets nailed with a SHOULDER not a helmet. I guess the new NFL should implement a 2 hand touch rule when a receiver goes up for a ball like that all you have to do is touch him w/both hands & he's considered down @ that spot. Or how about more radical decision, throw a 15yrd personal foul on the QB for leading a player into harms way...this league is getting too nit picky with these rules.
If Dunta Robinson enjoys walking, he better not do that shit again. Why risk paralysis when a simple shove would have brought down Jackson at that point? These football players aren't exactly the brightest tools in the shed are they.
