The offer was Calvin Johnson (Lions) for Jamaal Charles.

I'm stuck. I was also offered Thomas Jones for Marcedes Lewis. So if I did the CJ trade, I was planning to do the Jones trade, until I saw Charles has started to take Jones' carries. The format is 2 HB, 2 WR, and a flex, ten teams, money league.

    Here is my team:

    QB - Drew Brees
    HB - Jamaal Charles
    HB/WR - Jahvid Best
    HB - Peyton Hillis
    WR - Wes Welker
    WR - Donald Driver
    TE - Dallas Clark
    D/ST - Packers
    K - Rob Bironas

    Bench

    HB - Shonn Greene
    WR - Dez Bryant
    QB - Mark Sanchez
    WR - Derrick Mason
    WR - Lance Moore
    TE - Marcedes Lewis
    RB - Michael Bush

Thanks guys. If Greene was producing like I though he was going to, I wouldn't have posted this thread.

I would rather have Charles and Driver starting than Greene and CJ.

    No deal.

I also have Hillis and Best, who both, especially Hillis, are having nice years so far.

Any other suggestions? Or a counter offer?

Hillis and Best are also starters though.

If you give up Charles you are going to have to move someone up from your bench. You are better off keeping Charles.

If you post his team maybe one of us will come up with a counter offer.

I'd be hesitant to deal for Johnson until we know what the deal is with his shoulder. Not sure how you're doing in the standings but there's a decent chance he won't play Sunday and a bye week next week you might not be playing him for a bit.

    His team is:

    QB - Tom Brady
    HB - Frank Gore
    HB - Ryan Torain
    HB/WR - Brandon Lloyd
    WR - Calvin Johnson
    WR - Marques Colston
    TE - Dustin Keller
    D - Atlanta
    K - Stephen Gostkowski

    Bench

    WR - Dwayne Bowe
    HB - C.J. Spiller
    HB - Brandon Jackson
    D - Chiefs
    WR - Kevin Walter
    QB - David Garrard
    K - John Carney

He said he wants Charles, and is also willing to part with Colston. I just offered a trade for Thomas Jones and Kenny Britt for Lewis. I just dropped Moore for Danny Amendola. If the TJ trade happens, I'll be dropping Danny Amendola.

CJ has 20 points right now in my league, and Charles and Jones are splitting carries right now. Might revisit this trade.

Thinking about offering Driver and Charles for CJ and Torain. Thoughts?

Megatron is the only weapon Detroit has and is guaranteed AT LEAST 75 yds and a TD every week. I'd make that trade tbh, Charles is a solid back but will be hit or miss

Just did the trade. Now I'm trying to do a trade surrounding Wes Welker for L.T. to help my running back situation. What should I also include in the L.T. deal? Or someone else? Thanks.

No, just the Charles for Johnson one. What did it for me was TJ getting more carries than Charles. I have TJ after that Lewis trade. I'm trying to grab L.T., and when I talked to the guy he said he'll work a trade with Welker.

    His team:

    Peyton Manning
    L.T.
    Marion Barber
    Darren Sproles
    Miles Austin
    Steve Smith (NYG)
    Tony Gonzalez
    Jets D
    Nate Kaeding

    Bench

    Brandon Jacobs
    Eli Manning
    Kevin Boss
    Eagles D
    Early Doucet
    Saints D
    Austin Collie

He doesn't know much football, just big on "name" players. I offered him Dez Bryant and Wes Welker for L.T. I don't see W.W. doing work with him being the number one receiver and teams focusing their game plans on him.

Don't ask me why he has two defenses on his bench, but he has the second to last playoff spot. Top 4 out of 10 make the playoffs, and after this week I'm sitting at 2-4, two games back out of 3rd and 4th, and we play up until Week 11.

I looked at ESPN's format for money leagues (13 week season, 14/15 and 16/17 playoffs) and I changed it based off of that, but made the regular season 12 weeks.
