I Can't Believe We Have Folk As A Kicker...

Yea lets not forget about Weatherford who learned how to punt for distance this year.

The Jets kicking game has been excellent this year.. no 2 ways about it. I kind of expected Folk to be good, but Weatherford's performance has been a very pleasant surprise. He's kicking the crap out of the ball.. and dropping some nice ones inside the 10

 

Weatherford has been aamzing and his great punt to put Minny inside the 20 was huge before the INT.


I hated losing feely but it feels good to be wrong. Folk has been outstanding, let's hope he can keep it up.

Nick Folk has been absolutely brilliant this year. I brought a Cowboys fan with me to the game, and he kept saying "hahah it's raining watch him miss all these field goals"

after the first "damn", 2nd "wtf?", 3rd "are you fucking kidding me he isn't even in a dome", 4th "this is unreal"

He was a concern for me coming into the season, considering how his stint in Dallas went. But he's really turning into one of the key offseason acquisitions for us. Very impressed.

 

That 53 yarder was a bomb!!

 

I won't be impressed until he nails a 61-yarder.

 

Per SNY,Folk is the top rated kicker, Weatherford is #7...Nice. Both these guys had a great game last night.....

Glad to see Folk doing so well, especially with Dallas's kicker totally blowing it last week.

Not to hold anyone's hands to the fire, but a "post-history" search of some of the "FOLK coming off hip-surgery" assessments when he first arrived at Jets camp were ipso-facto interesting, given his contributions to date.

The guy may end up as a brick artist down the stretch--who knows? (e.g. that 'Saints-esque' chippie he missed vs. Bills)--but for now, what exactly DID we 'fans' know at the time while we were declaring him to be fit/unfit as an NFL-caliber kicker? ???

Folk sucks. I can't believe we have him as a kicker. If it was Feely, he'd kick that 53 yarder atleast another 20 yards beyond the goal post. Then maybe the NFL changes its rules and such kicks start to get a PAFG (Point After FG) attempt. We need to change the NFL!

Feely had a game-winning FG for the Cards, so he would have been more valuable to us.
