my favorite moment of that win was Chad flexing his muscles after hitting Santana Moss on that deep post for a TD to make it 14-7.
To be fair SD was playing different football late in that year and we had an injured QB and we stumbled into postseason. I had no problem w/ "experts" thinking SD would win, I had a problem w/ some thinking we had no chance.
Mother of god I loved it when Chad did that. He had such a subtle swagger about him. The Tennessee Dead Leg is another one I'll remember him for. It's too bad his shoulder got ripped to shreds.
I was at both of those games and it was awesome... that playoff game was so Un San Diego like. It was wet and cold and just the feeling of a real NFL playoff game. I nearly got killed by all the gang bangers on my way back to my car. Still nothing better then hearing your team's chant in an opposing stadium. I remember people crying to me about the Chargers being better then us and we were lucky. I laugh at people like that. They of course ignored the fact that we had beaten them 3 straight times in San Diego after that win. We just have their number.
Btw, fatass said the Jets were a better team than the Giants yesterday and that New York is currently a "jet town"
True. I just wish he'd get the hell off the Dolphins already, he's the third QB now, there's no more reason for him to be there.
I almost drove off the thruway when I heard that... He was on the phone with Troy Aikman and clearly said the Jets were the better team and that they own the town.
I didn't listen the entire week after the Ravens loss. I put it on for the first 15 minutes on the day after and couldn't stomach it and didn't even think about turning it on until the monday after the jets won. if he continues to unfairly destroy the jets he's going to lose listeners. i'm still waiting for the next time they lose a game to see his reaction.
He has probably finally come to the realization that, once the world series is done and there's no more baseball, and the Jets continue to win and the giants continue to be mediocre, his show will become completely irrelevant. Now he does a complete 180, starts kissing the Jets' ass, and by December he could say "troo it all, I've been tellin ya all along, da jets are the bettah team. The kid Sanchez is a great quahtehback"

I love how hasn't brought up suspending Favre because of course.....they are playing the Jets. So its perfectly fine for them to delay, but for Braylon Edwards its WWIII
